Check if Nov posting includes the Oct points. That’s usually what happens.

You might want to consider a small non-Marriott monthly charge to your card if having the points post promptly is important.

Same case here - just one charge for room cost at the Sheraton Wall Centre Vancouver.

Points appear on the Amex November statement but not in my Bonvoy account.

Same ongoing issue for me here. The points from my November 15 statement did not arrive at Marriott.

The American Express phone rep cheerfully told me several times that my points were "successfully transferred" to Marriott on November 15.
(Well, no they didn't, or I wouldn't be calling.)

The December 15 points included non-Marriott transactions. The November 15 points was one single Marriott transaction, with a promo bonus.
The December 15 statements points posted "successfully". The November 15 points still have not.

I think the two months’ points will post in a single transaction, not two separate ones. Can you verify that the points weren’t added together to show as one transaction? I would calculate manually how many pts you should have received each month.

If that’s not it, I have no more ideas.

I just noticed this also. My December 15 canadian amex statement points have not yet posted; normally they always post on the 17th every month. For this period I only charged marriott stays to the card.

For the satement before (Nov. 15. posted on Nov. 17), everything was OK, but there was an addtional non-marriott charge. I wonder if this has happened before but I just wasn't paying attention?

Has anyone successfully resolved this? Should I just wait until the next statement to see if the points post?

I think you have to wait. If you call Amex, they’ll tell you to wait.

I have no idea what happens if you have 2 consecutive months with only Marriott transactions though. Feel free to experiment and let us know what happens. Also I’d be curious to know if everything posts as one transaction which I believe will be the case.

I have spent a small amount in a grocery store just to have a non Bonvoy transaction.

To my suprise the Bonvoy points pending for a while suddenly posted.

No idea what's going on.

Mine still haven't posted. This is from an early December stay. Did not Marriott transaction in early December and those points posted but not the marriott ones.

Thanks, margarita girl. Nope, the points did not get carried over. The points earned for the November 15 statement was a largish amount; the December 15 points amount was lower, and was earned entirely in that statement period. The November 15 points just plum didn't get posted.

Some time today, the points arrived in my account.

I had phoned Amex on December 17, and Marriott on December 21.
So I'm reasonably sure it was one of those phone calls that worked.

My points from Dec 25 statement did not post. 1 Marriott charge, 1 non-Marriott charge, though it was categorized as a dining bonus (even though it definitely shouldn't have been). So maybe it's more of a "make at least one non-bonus earning purchase" thing?

Something’s wrong. You should have received that at about 8 weeks after your renewal date. I get mine on the same date every year (and even have a reminder in Outlook to check that I received it). Do you know when you usually get it?

Normally, Marriott Bonvoy® Points will post within 12 weeks after the end of the month the charge occurred in.

If you could not receive the points over above timeline, you can send a private message or an email to us with your concerns details, member number, full name, recorded email address and the last stay details (hotel name and stay date) for account verification purpose, so that we can check on it for you.
