You'd be surprised. If you decide to do the Decanter once during your seven day stay, then I am sure you can easily spend USD1,650 over the course of the rest of your stay. We spent around USD250 per day on F&B if you exclude the Decanter day and we didn't always have lunch and dinner on each day.

Wow such a great deal on the seaplane.

350usd a day isn't much

Free breakfast
Light lunch
Couple sunset drinks
3 course dinner

If only they included activities and spa

Is Decanter still worth the price if I don't drink?

We did the same for a family of 3. Roughly about 250 a day.

No, I don't think it's worth it just for the food.

Mediterranean buffet I think. The buffet's and beach barbecues are so not worth it IMHO. Better going a la carte. I ordered some fish on the beach barbecue and it came to something like $150. A fish in the main menu is $50.

I had a wonderful stay but now running into issue with point posting. Point didn't post correctly. Both Stay Add Marriott agent, as well as two Ambassadors, claim folio charge is in MVR. Hence, my qualifying spend is only $160. Yeah, I wish my roundtrip seaplane transfer were only $45. I understand seaplane transfer is non-qualifying but $45 would have been a great deal. Trying for my fourth claim, with credit card statement attached, now. Marriott should let their agents and Ambassadors know the operating currency of their properties.

Will be able to comment about JW next week.

STR vs Conrand will be able to comment abit more later this week

things that stands out currently are
STR offers better F&B (wife is veg so makes my life easier)
STR rooms are bigger
Butler service at STR is better

Conrad - the lagoon on the smaller island with the water villa's is very nice for swimming and watching fish, the water at STR seems abit rough. (not an issue if you are a strong swimmer)
Conrad - has more of a Maldivian resort feeling
Conrad - people more in causal clothing mode, STR people at times seem to dress up to go to breakfast or they just super rich

will share more later
