Did you park there since you were delivering mint coins?

Ya know I should have and if someone approached me to tell me not to park there I could have whipped out the order sheet that comes with a box of coins and shown them where they came from.

maybe they would let me out of it--just this once.

now THAT is a great idea! And it should be your sig line.

There are FT luggage tags so why not US mint ones!

And if they dont do it, any graphic-inclined person here could make them up and sell them for--you guessed it--$1 coin each

Bumper Stickers

"Proud Spouse of Mint Coin Purchaser"

I'm sure others have great ideas. We could form a business of making luggage tags and bumper stickers.

Subtotal and total wrong on mint order

Anyone else have an order mistotal? I order 3 different presidents (my sister likes to collect them and I ordered the only three in stock she doesn't have yet) and ordered 1-buchanan, 1-adams and 2-washington. When it got to the summary page it was showing the subtotal as $1k but only $750 for the total order. I just decided to change the washington coins to 1 box and order 1 box of Sacagawea since they seem to ship so fast. Same thing, subtotal is $1K and total is only $750

Product Name Quantity Price (each) Total Availability Gift Box Product Ship Date

Circulating $1 Coin Direct Ship Rolls – James Buchanan (Y15)
1 $250.00 $250.00 In Stock N

2007 Circulating $1 Coin Direct Ship Rolls - John Adams (Y02)
1 $250.00 $250.00 In Stock N

2007 Circulating $1 Coin Direct Ship Rolls - George Washington (Y06)
1 $250.00 $250.00 In Stock N

2001 Circulating $1 Coin Direct Ship Rolls – Golden Dollars featuring Sacagawea – (SA1)
1 $250.00 $250.00 In Stock N

Subtotal (w/o Shipping & Handling) $1,000.00

Shipping & Handling (includes any Gift Box charges) $0.00

Total Order $750.00

LOL. Well if they want to ship my all four boxes and only charge me $750, I sure don't have a problem with it I'm even willing to forget about the points for the $250 in free coins

New Use for Coins, Girl Scout Cookies

just discovered this weekend only 4 coins gets you a box of girl scout cookies, and they seem to think they were really cool and actually wanted to take them.

A little embarrased to say I don't know how to creat a sig, but I agree that would be a great one.

I parked this weekend at a lot that was charging $4 and would only take cash. I had some coins in the glove box and figured a perfect way to get rid of them and circulate them in accordance with the program. Handed them to the attendant (was probably 20 years old) and he said "we can't take Foreign currency". I pointed out the back of the coin said "united states of america" and Franklin Pierce was on the other side. Kid asked me who franklin pierce was (says a lot about our school system LOL) and I just told him they were worth $1 each and it said it right on the coin. He went and asked the other attendant if they could take them and he looked at them and said he had never seen them before but it was only $4 and just take them.

I guess these coins really aren't being circulated at all.

Maybe they took a well deserved day off yesterday. I have a Monday order which temp authorized on my CC, but is still on hold.

Always entertaining.

I really enjoy helping the Mint promote dollar coins. I use them everywhere. ^
