For pending CA, your available CA may be 0 while your CA balance is being shown 0.

It's been known that spend across cards will count towards the 40k spend needed for the 10k qualifying miles. If that is true, then Citi is tracking spend across cards.
I wonder if I use my first AA exec card to load TD, that will count towards meeting the spend req on the second card. |

I don't believe there's ever been a scenario where spend on one card will count towards a spend requirement for another.

Getting this message when trying to load NW Buxx with USbank FlexPerks card:
"Your order could not be completed. Please try again or change your payment method." Looks like only one other person on FT had this problem. Not sure how to proceed. Anyone have experience with this? ================= Edit: I figured out the problem. It asks for the CID for the LOADING card, not the BUXX card. ...I am not a smart man. |

What do you find the NW Buxx card useful for? To me the max load and the max payment amounts seem too low for it to be worth the trouble. |

It's not great for doing MS, but I've found it useful to keep on hand for the other MS-minimum spend. Using the NW could almost make the MS on one card with $3000 spend in 3 mths. Just another tool in the box to help things along when you start running out of options. |

Glad to see everything is still a go. I will see how my Walmart goes next month when my clock resets.
I loaded $1K on serve at the one (and only) live checkout lane. When I then said I also want to load BB, she turned to the supervisor and indicated ALL BB must be loaded at the MC. On the way there, she talks over her shoulder to me - people have been trying to load BB with pre-paid debit cards and corporate is shutting it down. She asked if my debit was pre-paid - I said 'regular debit' (USB Buxx, but I didn't share that). I handed her BB, she swiped it, then noted that it was my wife, not me. She said 'official policy, cannot load someone else's BB, they have to do it in person' and canceled the transaction and handed me back BB with $0 loaded. Later in the day, I had jury duty in Martinez, so was at WM on Arnold. Here there were perhaps 10 cashier lanes to choose from, all with long lines. I handed her my wife's BB, loaded $1K, no questions, no problems. So, there are many issues here. Alcosta communication to cashiers - 6/23 "all Amex products" vs. 6/30 "BB" cannot be handled by cashier, must go to MC. Alcosta claims - official policy coming from HQ vs. no problem at any other WM. Alcosta claims - policy of 'can only load your own BB' vs. no problem at any other WM. I'm sure there are many other issues. For now, I'll just keep moving around but it doesn't bode well from my perspective. |

Works fine with a TD card. Only caveat (using any debit) is that many Citi reps will say they don't accept debit payments any longer. HUCA strategy is often necessary.
What is HUCA...are you just calling the customer service number on the back of the card? |

Yes, I was just reading Citi Payments wiki and saw this was coming back to edit post lol, thanks :D |
Hello - TD loads post as CA and I read that they convert to purchases in about 3 weeks on my Citi Exec. Two questions please:
- is there a way to check online how much of my CA limit I have available as of now, short of calling Citi? - anyway to reset the CA limits faster than 3 card? Thank you, |

Try to use ONE address line to put your APT No. after the Street No., Name.
The CC verification process only reads the first set of number in the address - it does not look any further. So if you have street number, put everything on ONE line.. I hoped they wouldn't convert it back to APT No then ST, but they did! I now went ahead and changed it to one line as you suggested. Hoping it'll work when it finishes processing in a few days |
