It depends which Buxx you are trying to load to. For TD, first CA and then purchases. For USB, purchases.

I think we're getting conflicting reports about whether the load initially posts as CA or not on Citi Execs. Are you sure these people are not referring to their other Citi AA cards? For example, my platinum select does not seem to initially process the load as CA - it processes as a regular purchase, posts faster, and doesn't eat up credit/CA advance limits unlike all my other Citi Exec cards. Also, are you sure they're not referring to the US Bank Visa Buxx? Because that also codes as a purchase from the get go and does not tie up cash advance limits.

For pending CA, your available CA may be 0 while your CA balance is being shown 0.

Why can you not see you CA limit online?

You have 3 line items displayed in your account details - Payment, Purchase, Cash Advances - anytime the Cash Advances show a number, that means your pending Cash Advances have NOT dropped off. It should be a 0 - not set to 0, but 0 being used up!

Your available credit line also should be a telling number to give you a clue if any of the available credit is being eaten up by pending cash advances.

Obviously you would need to do some math yourself as Citi's site would not tell you straight up, but you can figure this out if you know how to analyze the numbers.

Setting CA to 0 meaning TD's transaction could not go thru.

It's been known that spend across cards will count towards the 40k spend needed for the 10k qualifying miles. If that is true, then Citi is tracking spend across cards.

AAdvantage tracks spend across all Exec cards to award the 10K qualifying miles, not Citi. Your idea of spending extra on one Exec card to meet the bonus on a different one will definitely not work.

So... NW Buxx Max load per day: $500, Max load per rolling 30 days: $1,000. Is this per teen card, per account, or per SSN?? Thanks!

Just tried to load TD with my Ink and it would not go through, changed to the Venture and went through fine.

Is Chase blocking this?

Hm, just read that the AU cards seem to be the problem which is what I'm trying to use. Will switch up to the primary and report back.

Same problem. Same solution. No problem.

Does Chase code this as CA for any of its CCs like CSP, Freedom, Ink?

ust curious on how to sign up for the Visa Buxx card. What information are you suppose to put down for the Parent and Teen?
From what I read from the USB Buxx FAQ, the name on the Buxx card is the Teen so I figured I would want to have my name on the Teen Info since I want my name on the card. However I also need to have my real info as the Parent in order to fund the Buxx card so I am not sure.

What do I put in for the following?
Parent Name: Eric?
Parent SSN: my real SSN (eg: XXX-XX-1234)

Teen Name: Eric? or sibling?
Teen SSN: Make up a SSN? (eg: XXX-XX-5678?) OR use a sibling real SSN?

I know USB Buxx won't allow you to enter the same SSN between parent and teen which makes sense. Any help would be appreciated.

So I have 2 visa Buxx accounts. One with my name as the teen and my SO as the parent and the other card the info is switched. However, for one of the cards I'm not able to create a parent login and on the buxx website it only has the option to create a teen login.
Anyone experience this problem? Should I just close it and re-open that account? Thanks in advance.

Isn't the parent login info the same as you used when you initially set up the account and ordered the cards?

That's what I thought as well. I figured I forgot the login I used to setup that specific account. When I went through the 'login help' it didn't show up though. Guess I'll just continue to fund that card through the phone.
