It was in the previous wiki before all the editing.
It has also been talked about in here as well.

I never switched out my cards so I never had any experience with it.

Maybe the trick is "edit" instead of "delete."

Confused. So did you find another cashier and successfully load your card after being declined by one cashier?

Sorry for confusion. There are 2 WM involved here.
Case 1 - San Ramon - there was only 1 cashier functioning at that time. I have loaded Serve/BB there before at the cashier. When I approached her and said 'want to load' she turned to the supervisor nearby and told me 'go to Money Center'. There was no alternative cashier to try - the supervisor was already walking to the Money Center (this is a small WM).

Case 2 - Pittsburg - many cashiers, picked 1, asked to load, she loaded both BB and Serve, no problem.

FYI - I return to San Ramon (much closer) today to try again and will report back. It is either a false alarm or a big problem, but I don't know which it is yet.

Buxx - USB vs. TD

There has been a lot of discussion lately about accuracy of the wiki and 'failure to load' scenarios. I don't think any of the failures are in the realm of what I am about to post, but if anyone else can confirm, I think this would be useful for the wiki. Save some learning for others.

For the 30 day rolling window, I believe USB and TD are different. For USB, it seems to be 30 days x 24 hours. That is, if you loaded 6/14 at &;29 a.m., you better not try again on 7/14 at 8:28 a.m.

But, for TD, midnight seems to 'make a day' so if you loaded at 11:59 p.m. on 6/14, you could load at 12:01 a.m. on 7/14, since 30 midnights have passed by.

Just my perception, may not be true. Perhaps not a big deal. But, if it is, one more detail to maintain in the log that is really annoying.

That's surprising since I must have exceeded the "5 every 180" restriction. Does it appear somewhere on the USBuxx website?

I encountered the issue a couple weeks ago and added it to the wiki. Search break in this thread a little.

Try to use ONE address line to put your APT No. after the Street No., Name.

The CC verification process only reads the first set of number in the address - it does not look any further. So if you have street number, put everything on ONE line..

My TD keeps failing on me. :td:

I had this exact same issue. I did what happy has suggested and haven't had a problem since.

You mean the funding, not the usage, I assume.

So, again, I'll report tomorrow, but if corporate is rolling something out, it didn't get to Pittsburg yet.

The CSR at Pittsburg ca would not allow me to use prepaid debit to buy a MO either on Sunday.

Yesterday at the neighborhood WM On Alcosta I bought a MO with prepaid but they took my info because I split payment, which they've been doing for a few weeks now.

How did they know it was a "pre-paid debit card"?

Aren't all debit cards "pre-paid" by definition?

I've still yet to have anyone ask to see any card I was using to buy a MO at any WM, DS, GS, whatever.

Ltoraya Jun 26, 2014 4:17 pm

I think she meant no GC, which is what I was trying to use in Pittsburg.
