Once loaded to serve you could then withdraw at a moneypass atm for free or transfer straight to bank account...or simply pay the credit card bill right away. |

OR we can also w/d for free from any AllPoint ATM located inside Walgreens.
with buxx you would still face the 1.50 charge from US Bank for the withdraw. and of course with Serve you would still have to 2000/mo atm limit. but it might be a convenience option if one of those is closer to you than a moneypass atm |

Just log into your Citi account online and you can see what's what. Temp auth, CL left, etc. I've read-- but haven't done it myself-- that you can call in once your temp. auth goes to purchase --and ask them to restore the CL for the amounts that are both in temp. auth. and purchase.
edit: I speak too soon. I was able to get the CS to drop mine off. However, I can't get them to drop my wife's off. Sucks |

I was talking about w/d using Serve card since we have a lot of WAG AllPoint ATMs around here. I have also USBank ATM for my visa buxx to w/d $200 x 3 in one day that I don't get charged @ their bank's ATM. I access it after banking hours when there are usually no other clients.
...or just use serve if you have some of the limit left on that...or do a money order if you have not done a whole lot that month |
So has the TD GO a viable/relatively cheap option for MS thusfar for people (at least meeting min spend)? Other than Citi cards, do all the other issuers code as a purchase as well?

Hi - thank for this. But the whole point is that the temp authorization sticks around for 3 weeks or so. Anyway to get around this? Also, I have noticed that when there are other pending charges (US Buxx for instance) the old TD ones have temporarily disappeared but that doesn't mean that have posted nor that the CL is reset to 0. Just Citi making us feel like we are ready for another go but we really aren't :/

PS: while others say they got away with fictitious info and have no problems so far, it is all up to you whether you want to follow that route. Good luck!

just a caveat, this is a DISCONTINUED product so my unsolicited advice for you is to make sure the info you put into it is accurate or else pray that you don't have a problem later on because their customer service SUCKS!!!! you would not like to be caught giving fictitious info just to get the card; but as long as you don't have a problem, it is a good card to keep for MS. Yeah, I wouldn't sign up with fake info. A few weeks ago I signed up using legit info and put my sister as the teen. Later on I put myself as the teen and her as the parent but I accidentally input one wrong digit for her social. A few days later, before the card even came in the mail the account status online showed that it was "Closed". About a week later they refunded the original load amount and the fees. I would just stick with using real info.

So wrong info for the teen does or does not matter as long as the parent info is correct?

Thanks, so should I go with USA, TD, or both?
btw, I sent you PM. Thanks! |
You guys seriously need to stop soliciting the use of fake information for teens.
It's rather appalling. |
