Citi with zero CA posted TD transaction

I can now confirm that Citi exe with cash advance set at zero posted TD transaction as purchase. In my case it only took a couple of days for the transaction to be posted.

....really? It's already there:

"Citi codes as purchase and earns points for TD Bank loads.
Citi with some cards including the Exec will keep your order as pending and it will take up Credit limit for 3 to 4 weeks."

No, how about you try reading the FAQing wiki? It is already posted there

read my post. I was talking about whether citi will allow the transaction to go through IF cash advance limit is set to zero. There were several posts that stated it will not. Can someone update the wiki, please.

Any ideas?

I just got my TD card in the mail. I added my new United Explorer card as a funding source. I tried to load and it was declined. I tried various amounts.

1. I'm the primary on the card.
2. My cash advance is set to $5000.
3. There are no fraud alerts on the account.
4. The address matches. TD did not have the additional 4 digits to zip code so I had them add to my profile.

The only difference is my credit card does not have my middle initial. I was able to load successfully using my CSP.

I really want to use my United card as the main source. Any ideas why it won't take? TD couldn't figure it out.

Is the United card the one you used to fund the card when you ordered it?

There is a good chance that the first load transaction (that is when you initiate the account) works differently than subsequent loads. Try to load the same TD card using the same Citi Exec card another time, and if it worked let us know.

mizzou1, Good point. Will try once I receive the card.

No. I opened the account with my CSP. After I received my United card I added that to the account. I tried loading and declined. I was still able to load $500 from my CSP. I haven't hit any limits. It just is not accepting that card for some reason. Very frustrating.

Out of all Chase cards, I've only had problems with the United Plus, for no apparent reason (no CL issues, no CA issues...). I've gone back to using the CSP instead - is there a reason you don't want to do that? You can transfer the points to United anyway (which you already know).

I wanted to meet my minimum spend. At least I know it's not just me. Wonder why?

Also isn't there a spend boost at 25k? This is a nice way to get 1.4x using buxx loads

Yes that's another reason I want to use that card.
Any ideas on what I can do or reason why it won't take?
