Not sure if the forum etiquette is I PM someone to ask this question, but I'm noticing that there's a lot of questions regarding opening a USB Buxx account. Is everyone going into a branch to request an account? Or is there some super secret way everyone is keeping under wraps that I need a decoder ring, invisible ink UV light, and a treasure map to find?

You guys seriously need to stop soliciting the use of fake information for teens.
It's rather appalling. My sister in law gave up on this USBVb card after just one month since she used a fake SSN for an 'imaginary' teen (I warned her about it but she didn't listen). she had log in problems for the parent account (real SSN) so she could not add more funds except by going to the bank where they do CA to add funds to her card  she gave up after a month calling and begging them to give her a log in AS PARENT to no avail. their customer support is a BIG JOKE, they send canned responses without giving her solutions to her log in problem. She just decided to cut her losses when a month came and she still couldn't log in as parent. btw, those not aware, we are entitled only to TWO calls a month for free; beyond that, you get charged FIFTY CENTS per call to get USELESS customer service. |

I said it to everyone individually, but thank you to all who were kind enough to PM me a map out of the darkness.

Problem loading TD buxx with Citi
I keep getting declined when trying to load TD buxx. Decline message reads "Your order could not be completed. Please try again or change your payment method". I tried again and it got declined again. I tried $1000 and $990 and both got declined. I am using a Citi Executive card that I used three weeks ago when opening the buxx account. Citi Executive has plenty of available credit and its cash advance limit is set to zero (CA was set to zero when I made the initial load to the buxx using this same credit card, so CA limit should not be the issue). After the initial load of $1000, I have not load the buxx card during the last three weeks, so I am not going beyond any limit. Any idea what is going on here?

alright I am new to this Visabuxx card. I have loaded one of buxx card to $2000 and then tried to use it for MO ($1935) at WM, got declined and then again to WD cash during checkout using cashback option ($40). both transactions were declined. I have though WD $60 couple of days back. My question is what kind transactions are allowed with $2k/ 7 day limit. Is it only BP (either at WM or over the phone)?
thanks |

thanks Double check your time line and you math. Your 1953 MO + $60 = $2013. If it is less than 7 days (not counting the day you did the $60 withdrawal), then you have exceeded the $2K every 7 days limit. The 7 days do NOT include the day you took out the $60. The cash back is considered a Withdrawal - which of course you are only permitted to do up to $60 PER WEEK. You also violated that when you tried it at WD. It is really very basic, simple MATH and record keeping. You are allowed to take out $2K in total in 7 days period. That includes ANY FORM of taking out cash. You failed that at WM. You are allowed to withdraw $60 per WEEK - though it is not sure whether it is by calendar week, or by 7 days also. You also failed that at the 2nd attempt at WD. You will continue to fail doing the BP or whatever, UNTIL you have gone pass the time limit. All because you do not count your days, nor your dollars, not because of the methods used. If you are bad at record keeping, better just stick to large sum of liquidating and not mess with the WEEKLY $60 withdrawal. Less math challenging that way. |

Based on my and others' experience, Citi does not process the transaction as CA (even initially). Why should it be problem to set CA limit to zero?
It seems Citi does process the Exec cards as CA initially then turns it to a purchase, but the regular AA cards as purchase. That is why there are also many posts talking about the phantom CA entries eating up the available CA line on the Exec cards. Multiple posts have demonstrated this distinction. You can choose to continue to rely on your conclusion or take some efforts to read back the posts upthread and see the distinction which has been discussed multiple times. Once you set the CA to zero, yes, Good Luck in restoring it. |

You may want to double check on how Citi treats Exec cards versus other AA cards.

Do you know if citi does a hard pull to process CA increase requests? |
