How long did it take from the CFPB filing to getting the checks? Also which entity was on the checks?
Thanks for your DP.

Yes it does, taking chances. I have completly stopped using money services and or buying VGC at the Walmart I had problem with. I do load in other walmarts within 10-15 miles, hoping that the same people I had problem with, does not get transfer in other locations and they recognize me. I have no way of finding the two people who were present during this saga still works there or has left walmart, in which case it would be no problem.

loaded 2 X 498 on two cards. We need to keep this thread going to know you can still empty the cards to not end up with a lots of VGC and suddenly there is a stop.

I've been loading two $500's daily for the past six days. No issues.

In what state?

have you noticed new vanilla cards having a warning in red do not buy or sale if the window is blocked or something to that effect and I'm not sure if the newer cards have extra security and so they wont block it like the old cards?

I've been able to do 1K (two 500 swipes in one transaction) on one Discover card since the beginning, most recently just 45 minutes ago. I'm one of those people that think swipe limits (i.e. having to do say 499/swipe instead of the full 500) is purely a location thing - some areas have it and others don't.

Does anyone ever unload their card by buying MOs at a grocery store? Would be nice if that counted towards the 1% cashback up to $30/month and also maybe looked more favorably on (using the card for purchases) than billpay (maybe?)

Curious if anyone has theories on that, I don't want to risk my account for an extra $30 a month by any means but it would be a pretty minimal time investment to do that a few times a month during regular grocery store shopping . All the grocery stores around me are strictly no VGC for MO so I wouldn't be foregoing an opportunity to liquidate VGCs.

Most grocery store cash back programs exclude services such as drugs, alcohol and tobacco, etc. I would be willing to guess that buying items such as MOs would fall under those restrictions.

Furthermore, I try to keep my identity obscure when purchasing MOs especially with GCs (which isn't common now that almost all of my stores are cash only). I really don't want the powers that be knowing who is buying MOs from them, if at all possible.

Sorry if I wasn't clear - I meant unloading the Discover card with an MO purchase. The Discover card apparently earns 1% cashback up to $30/month. That's from Discover, nothing to do with a grocery store cashback program.
