How to pay down CL quickly?
Use WF account to pay
Likely to get shut down if...?
- Cycling several times through your CL
- Cause a negative balance
- Have a really high balance
- Calling in and getting caught by human eyes on bestiality activities.
To check what your 5X/5% window is:
In your account summary page on WF website, go into the CC, and click "show my rewards" on the left side, then click "Visit Wells Fargo Rewards"
From there go to "Earn Rewards" on the top and click "My Offers" and go into the "Promotional Offers-Usage" tab.
To check which transactions get 5X/5% before your statement posts
To check if new transactions are eligible, go to "My Rewards" on the top, click "Activity", and set the start/end dates. You should see a "bonus earning" 4% for anything that's eligible.
What to do when transaction not going through due to FA?

yeah most likely....one of my walmarts didnt code it as GROCERY....do a small test with like gum or something and see how to shows up under pending bonus pts....should be 4 x the amt spent.

I haven't tried Walmart but I was surprised that my Target purchases showed up as 5x rewards. The target does have a grocery store in it though. Id love to hear if the walmart posts as grocery as well.

A test purchase is amateur hour. Just look up the store's MCC online and find out instantly.

My points were showing all month as being available for redemption the day after my statement closed which was today. During the middle of the night the date the points are redeemable changed by one month and now are not available until September. Is this a normal occurrence or something I should be alarmed about?

I know about the system being unavailable for a few hours and that is not where my problem lies. On my rewards account, the date my points are redeemable changed by one month from 8/9/15 to 9/9/15 on the date they were supposed to be redeemable.

Has anyone ever gotten a letter saying they need to verify a payment in order to release the credit line. Payment sent from Serve Billpay. If so how did you resolve?

Similar thing happened to me last week. I didn't get a letter but a payment was posted at Wells online from Redbird Bill Pay but available credit wasn't updated. I called and they said it can take up to 5 days to verify payment. I pushed a little, she "called another department" and was able to get the verification pushed through. I really try to pay directly from Wells checking but couldn't this time.
