Can we add a wiki here? I have a strong feeling every NEWB is going to start coming here and asking about AGC liquidation due to RB changes.

I went through most of this thread, and there are many conflicting data points regarding which amount trigger a form to be filled out. Does anyone here know for certain which amount exactly it is currently? I can confirm buying a $500 won't require a form, but when I asked the CS, she said she is not allowed to tell me the maximum amt. So what is THE amount?

It all varies depending on location. Some is 500, 1000, 2500, 10000, etc. Vegas (Forum Shop), the CS person was all nervous when I asked to buy 2 x 500.00

In my experience if varies by mall and the whims of the cashier on duty hence why you are finding no consistent data point.

Went to buy a SVGC today. The lady said that they had a policy change today. TODAY! What's it about today that everything is changing?!

AGC from SM are now limited to $225 according to my store.

SVGC are still $500, so I bought one to test at Target - worked flawlessly. But at $3.95 a pop... not as cool.

Been that way since Fall. While it used to be $2.95, Simon allowing (and knowing) MS at $3.95 compared to grocery/drug store routes is great on a price and no hassle factor.

Yeah, but when I have to spend $15,000 within the next 3 months to collect a total of 340,000 points and miles for the min spend req, then the $3.95 isn't so bad.

There's no downside to having the forms filled out.
