This is the last thing I need right now.

Thanks.
Krogers are YMMV by store. Just in my local area I'm loved by one Kroger than doesn't even verify my card vs drivers license name matches and basically banned at another one because they act like I'm breaking the law buying gift cards.

I know YMMV, but at at least 4 stores locally I never had any issues, but I never buy more than $1,000 ($2,000 lately) - would rather make 2-3 trips - their stores are everywhere.

Well, just be more careful from now on.

Yea, I would say 2K is a limit you would want to stay at. You don't want to get the one cashier that will point out to management there's this one guy that's buying 6K at a time and turn the entire store unfriendly to MS.

Exactly, stores everywhere. Better to hit 3 stores to get your 6K, or multiple transactions with different cashiers at the very least.

Kroger MO

Live in Kroger home city. Yesterday tried to buy 2 $1000 MO at most convenient K with Vanilla GC. Have done this before. Was told no can do. Corporate email said no more. Never was allowed. Was told someone some greedy SOB was getting $10,000 at a time. Way to go dimwit!

I've ramped up the last two months to 2.5K at a time. I'm loading two serve accounts so four trips to kroger gets all the MCs I need for my two trips to WM.

No issues so far.

Not necessarily MS, but last friday when I went to buy some gc's to top up on fuel points for Oct I noticed the ebay gc's were back. They had the $50 fixed & $25-500 variables. It made my day since I've already got enuf Amazon money to last me thru Feb.

Same here, have a half-dozen Krogers nearby here in the ATL and they won't let me get MOs with GCs anymore. Looks like Kroger is going to be dead.

4X fuel points on GCs will be back soon, starting 11/19.

Catalina printed a slip last night.

In PHX they were on a peg right next to the Amazon ones (white gc on white cardstock). Ironically the only reason I saw them was because the variable Amazon one I always get was OOS and I started looking around for alternatives.

Looks like they are rolling out to several stores...

Central Atl is very hard now, due to what I suspect is a cadre of MSers that lack discretion. It's YMMV all the time now.
