Confirmed. I bought 2 $500 Variable Visa's on Saturday and did the same thing again on Monday. Took $5.00 off each time. This coupon makes them cheaper than Vanillas...and they are also easier to unload.

You are lucky. My coupon has been marked "redeemed", and won't take $5 off when I tried last time. My second and third transactions were one day and three days later than my first.

Mine showing redeemed now too. I checked yesterday before I went back a second time and it was active. So I did get lucky and got 2 transactions in somehow

Can someone lend me a hand here please - I'm lost about the Kroger fuel program.

How many fuel points can you redeem with one fuel-up @ Shell? I keep on reading that the maximum redeemable is 10 cents off a gallon. Why would anybody fill up @ Shell for 10 cents off? I pay 40 cents less for a gallon when I fill up @ ARCO (BP) across the street...

I've also read here that the maximum redeemable is $1 off per gallon which would make much more sense. How does that all work? Unfortunately when I go on the Kroger site and select my store, there's no information available - none as in nada, niente, nichts. It only says "There are no Fuel FAQ's to display at this time. Please check back soon." Haven't seen anything else there since I got my Kroger card (which I actually never got, I signed up online and use my phone# but never received a swipe card in the mail)

You can't make the deal work at Shell. you have to go to a Kroger station to get the $1 off, and you may not have one nearby. I used to drive eight miles out of my way until my closest store added a fuel station.

There is a barcode scanner on the pump. Just scan your Kroger card, swipe a payment card, and the pump will show you your point options. If you have 1000 points available you can get the $1 off on up to 35 gallons. It pays to have several 5-6 gallon cans if you don't have a big tank.

It can be made to work at Shell in some locations. I seem to remember some Shells (in the Pacific NW I believe) that would allow up to a $1 off per gallon. But yes, in most parts of the country you need to find a Kroger with gas to get the $1 off per gallon.

Still pretty hard to make Shell work in the PNW. You lose so much just in the price gouging. For example, here in Issaquah, WA: Costco is 2.81. Arco is 2.81. Safeway is 2.99. Chevron is 3.09. Shell is 3.47. W.T.F.?

In my local flyer (Atlanta), there was an ad for "one day" 4x fuel points on gift cards on Sat 11-15 from 10am to 3pm only.

I saw posts in other forums that 4x is starting on Nov 19th. There is a catalina that prints and advertises it. I don't know if it is regional but hopefully nation wide.

Interesting! With all the regional divisions Kroger has, I appreciate that you mentioned the area. When I share with my DD, I will have to include YMMV.

Just a thought, sometimes the Visa GCs are exempt in prior promotions. If that's the case, one might want to pick up WN GCs, or others, to cover the time already invested visiting the store. Especially with a 3-5% cashback bonus back card(s).

Just came back from the local store (believe it or not, left a case of beer in the cart before leaving the store earlier today) - they put a separate display with Apple Store gift cards - $25, $50, $25-$500. No purchase fee, unclear about FP, but I don't see why not...

My only question - where were they 2 month ago when I spent $3K in Apple Store
