I got 1000 gas points on a $500 "balloons" VGC today. Receipt says:
Gas Points Earned Today
Gift Card Points -- 1000
Ironically, I didn't get the 4x points on Amazon GCs offered thru j4u. Maybe it only works on fixed and I bought $100 on a $20-$500 variable, but I only got 200 fuel points.

Did you check if that Tom Thumb was on the "Participating" map? If the store/chain signed up to participate, and are not paying now, they're cheating. I'm not planning to chase the missing points through, just avoid those stores in the future.

No. Tom Thumb does not show on the participating map but no grocery store in the entire DFW metroplex shows on the map either. What I meant to say was that only Stop &Shop and Giant grocery stores are participating in the promo and these chains are only present in the 4-5 North East States.

You gotta be patient with the "Participating" map -- it's very slow to load. You can speed it up by zooming in/out. Most major grocery stores will be on it. See also my successful DP's in post 2196.

Thanks for referring back to your post 2196. It gives me some hope but I could not get any grocery store to show up on the map when searching by zip: 76092. Can you give it a try with above zip code?

I like to imagine that they realized that last week's coupon was fugged, so they're running it again correctly. Comments on DoC sound good. I really don't enjoy the moments between punching in my number and wondering if it will actually ring up, then having to go wait at CS and have another 50/50 shot at how they're gonna handle it.
