SMF area was hit pretty hard by some scammers last year. Understandable that they are worried.

is anyone seeing this on accounts created during the $10 promotion a couple weeks ago? The ones I created still don't get them on the offers for U. Does the card need to be activated with a purchase for the gift card offers to begin showing up?
I will try after Jan 1st. Probably Jan 2nd. I may stop in tomorrow to grab a small item to see if it unlocks this offer for one of my newer accounts.

So I bought a couple more US Bank MCGC today and the numbers were almost the same, the last 4 were 6199 and 6207. I went back to the rack to get a second one so they might not have been back to back together. They are making it too easy for the fraudsters.

Anyone notice a large number of the purple MC variable with missing pull tabs (that the cashier is to remove) on the back? At first I thought fraudsters but it was a almost all of them at two different stores. Factory error?
I usually don't buy MC so maybe that is the norm. Also, are you seeing PINs with these? I didn't have the little slip of paper in the 5 I bought so far so have had to call in.
Could be the same group of people messing with the MC.... inside job most likely

I created 5 new accounts online and added the coupon yesterday. but when I actually used them (by entering associated phones numbers at checkout) today, only one took off the $15.
Did anyone run into similar issues? Is there a trick? Thanks!

So far of my new ones, 4 of 6 worked. Last two haven't used yet.
