I assume you just found that out? Otherwise it's been a week and you haven't either checked the store again or contacted Incomm, which seems very odd.
Anyway I would try both and probably report card lost with Incomm first. |

I just figured it out today when I tried to buy an MO and my card was declined and I tried to check it online but it indicated that the card wasn't valid and wouldn't let me log in. I don't think incomm can do anything since I don't have the card. I'm going to CVS tomorrow morning and I'll try to find the card, hopefully nobody bought it. But if they did, an activated card isn't going to scan anyway I don't think. I don't know what would happen in that case.

I don't know for sure but it is likely incomm might be able to "find" the card based on the last 4 digits and the receipt/store info, or at least to see what they say.

I may be wrong about CVS. I bought some OV on Thursday night at RA and I just checked my receipt and below one of the cards it says, "CARD MAY TAKE 24 HOURS TO ACTIVATE." I have never seen this on one of my receipts before. I think this may be the problematic card, not the ones I bought at CVS, because I watched the CVS cashier scan my cards and it seemed she did give me the right one. I'm going to call OV and try to get this activated with the RA receipt.

It's been happening to me as well in MA. Having the clerk ring them up one at a time seems to work fine, but I have also told the clerks to type in my drivers license number manually. That doesn't freeze the register and I am able to put them all on one transaction. It seems to be hit or miss whether or not the cashier will know how to do it.

It has now been 29 hours and still no activation. Any suggestions? Should I give it another night, or call OV right away? |

I'm in CT and it has happened to me multiple times where the computer freezes after the ID scan. I initially thought it was a fluke the first time, but when I came back another day, the same thing happened. I tried at a different CVS and had the same issue. The clerk then attempted at a different register. I asked her to swipe the DL instead of scanning it and there was no issue.

Happened to me today too. Register froze after second $500

One way i've gotten around the $2k max is when the cashiers recognize me as a regular, they usually let me charge $2k per credit card. So i've done $4k at a time.

My data is a little old. I did this prior to 10/20. Have not purchased any in last month. But they would scan my license.
you're not getting a new limit every time they scan your DL. it just adds to your rolling 24 hr limit. |

umm whats the point of that, you do know the limit prev was $5k right? ... and that you can split payment if you wanted to just pay $2k on one CC even if you rang em all up at once.
