You're using a "GC" to buy a "GC"?

Well, I can say I didn't have trouble buying OVs at CVS yesterday and today. They've been changing the screen that pops up when you make a purchase over about $500 and this has been confusing some of the cashiers I've encountered. Specifically, the screen says something about restricted and something about a barcode. I worked this out to mean they need to scan the back of your state ID for the purchase to go through. This has worked every time, after convincing the cashier that the register wants my ID. Hopefully this is the only issue for you.

Same procedure as usual - my ID was scanned at both locations.

Just bought 3K worth a Central Florida CVS using a AGC with no issues at all. Its at my regular store and they know me well.

I was worried since I saw this post, but seems its YMMV.

What, exactly, was the message?

YMMV, for sure. A 3rd location I tried today was no problem, except it was only for $200.

Please note a number of off topic RA posts have been moved to this thread as they weren't about CVS and were taking this discussion off topic.
