I have no idea if this is true, but just thought I would pass it along for those who enjoy this topic.

If that's the case it doesn't bode well for the future of buying variable VGCs with a CC. Right now we have choices for those but if peeps start switching over it won't last either. I guess I'll know when I start seeing Vanilla VGCs disappear from my local stores just like VRs did, right now there's tons of them everywhere.

Makes sense to me. MS type activity would have very low profit margins for prepaid networks. Maxing out the cards for a flat fee, and the money is only there for a day or two before it is loaded to a card so they can't make much on the float.

Compare this to their target customer who may be loading $50 on a $3.95 card, and they are probably counting on a small percentage leaving it on the card for a while or even forgetting about it entirely.

Maybe they are being forced to renegotiate new agreements to maximize revenue.

It could also be that prepaid cards like BB are adding fees to the vanilla network because MS activity isn't making them any money. Amex/Bluebird can't be making a profit on a typical MS customer who loads $5k in the first week of the month, sends a few bill pays out, and then doesn't touch the account for another 25 days, all without paying any service fees.

Is there a thread where I can get more info on OV?

well done. im just practicing my trolling. its seems a necessary skill to fit in with the veterans here. I just hope to post enough BS to get my post count high enough so people dont mock me for how little bs... I mean how few postings, I have made. because after all, if you have a high post count, then surely your not full of it. then, you are reputable! isnt that how it works?

With great regret, I report that the pale memo has reached one of my 3 CVSs (MGM). I watched with fascinated horror as the clerk pulled it from behind the counter and spake, in a voice of thunder, saying "NO MORE CREDIT CARDS AFTER 4/4! So let it be written, so let it be done!"

Yes. You have a good understanding of the process for a newbie. ;)

I would think BB is losing money on MSers. Don't they have to pay incomm fees and BP service provider fees? I doubt BB gets many swipes from MSers.

I bought 5K last night in OH.

They had the memo, in fact the lady showed it to me after she was done. She wouldn't let me snap a pic of it though! :)

Serve, VRs and some others are now cash only. I drank too many beers last night or maybe I'd remember the whole list.
