Well I dunno maybe Prasha is a Metallica fan and was thinking of their classic hit - The Unbanked:
New blood joins this forum And quickly he's subdued Through constant pain disgrace The young boy learns their rules With time the child draws in This whipping boy done wrong Deprived of all his accounts The young man struggles on and on He's known Oooh a vow unto his own That never from this day His miles they'll take away What I've felt What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never fee Never VRs for me Won't see what might have been What I've churned What I've burned Never shined through in what I've shown Miles are Never free Never for me So I dub thee unbanked They dedicate their lives To running all of his He tries to please them all This bitter man he is |
The wackness of this thread is becoming overwhelming. Let's get back on topic.

The citi TY thread is getting this way too--in part because of my musical Ft talent lol
Am wondering if they should just be merged lol |

We can sue CVS when they stop letting us buy beans
CVS is not giving rewards on bean sales and then pulling back if people start to actually earn those rewards. (in fact you dont even earn CVS points on purchases of Gcs and PP cards) Citi TY is. There's a HUGE difference! |

And it's sort of amusing that CVS knew that giving points on GC/PP was bad, Citi apparently didn't.
I mean there have been times where stores might for some short period give promos or gas points or something for the purchases of things like GCs, but generally, no, most know better lol. Then again you have Kroger which I think DOES give gas points on GC purchases always, does it not? (I dont have them up here) |
All good in my area of LA. Hope to ride the "Bean Train" as long as she's burning coal. 1K/day limit enforced
|
I bought two beans yesterday at one of my two go to locations. No issues.

Who is unbanked?
The unbanked are also the unbilled, Unbilled have no bills to pay because have no credit |
Out of my usual area as I had some business in the Silver Spring area of Maryland this weekend. Stopped by the CVS in Downtown Silver Spring. Couple of cards in the rack, took one, bought without hassle--in fact at the self checkout with some help from a very friendly clerk.

Got my first ever decline at a CVS in Greensboro today near the coliseum. Here for kids swim meet. "No credit cards". Area was so sketchy I was more concerned I'd find my Jag either gone or on bricks outside. Another one down the road guy didn't think it'd work either but went through no problem.

The bean dealers in the IE are getting smart. The clerk just asked "maximum?" once I handed the two cards. I presented my ID and the card immediately and it went through without a hitch.
