Congrats! You'll always remember your first time.
my local cvs #1 was out last week. waiting until next week to start spending high again anyway so not a big deal. |
Encountering more and more of "cash only." Even in the same store where I made a purchase that morning. Has anyone used an effective script to get a cashier or manager to change their minds?

Much like fishing, if you want to catch the lunkers, you gotta go places where others aren't willing to go.

Asked the supervisor why it is cash only, he says they used to take cards for this but it hasn't been working well despite the new ID scan machine. Says it is a headache for them cos there are people buying many and some even coming back saying they lost the vrs and need refund or replacement vrs. Not worth the nonsense he said. So some of you are making it bad for everyone I guess

The cashier at my normal location asked me what I was saving miles for. She mentioned that someone else comes in there and says that he was saving miles for Alaska Airlines. I told her I'm saving for a future honeymoon.
Beans have been plenty and I was able to purchase 2k on Monday. I'm going again during lunch time today. |
I have been slacking off this month and have only hit the 50% mark for my BB accounts. Now i come on and find out that many CVS are cash only on this product. Great - the one month i slack off and now i will need to buy GCs to bridge the rest. I am usually done by now for the month. Idiot!!!!

Have you actually visited the locations?
Will go on a run of 4 CVS's at night. |
I think I know the answer but need confirmation. When using a gift card say $500 in value. You have to deduct the reload fee from your purchasing amount correct? So the reload is loaded with $496.05 the fee is 4.95 so that will completely drain your $500 gift card.
