I remember when I used to tell people about things that were "forum legends" regarding MVD.
And then I got shut down. Either way, I hope your approach to AP works long and prospers. Same here :D |
It is most likely the case that they do indeed store your IP with each transactions. I mean everything does nowadays even your forum posts have your IP attached to them.
Do they care is the question. |
Is it possible to use AMEX gift cards personalized with someone else's name on AP? For example, when I ordered my AMEX gift cards, I like personalizing them to my name because RA and CVS always asks to check the payment card along with my ID. This personalization makes them think it's a credit card. I also manage my wife's AP account and would like to use this card on her account. Has anybody used a personalized AGC like this on someone else's account? I asked this on the AMEX gift card forum, and there's no concensus as to whether personalizing the AGC registers it under my name, or if it's nothing more than a message like "happy birthday".

Do they care is the question. Hell. Chase tells ARS what IP I used when I sign up for their cards. |
Once again, repeating after Domat:
If they wanted, they could find and ban ALL the duplicate accounts in 48 hours or less. It would be the task for the unpaid intern programmer in their IT organization. They do not need to have your IPs. But you can believe whatever you want. |

Amazon Software Interns are paid $6000 a month over the summer, plus free housing.
Such a waste, worse than AP itself! |
Google, VM ware, and Microsoft all pay more. If you want to compete for talent, you gotta pay.

Another CRA, like TU/EX/EQ. You also have IDA (ID Analytics.) |

Do AGCs require registration to be used on AP, or can I just use them straight out of the envelope?
|
Nevermind
