I'm curious about this as well. I have 2 accounts (different SSN) that are suspended and it's a hassle to get them reopened. Can I just open a new account with the same info?

More risk, but more reward. ^

Bigger circuit randomized = less risk. And, no, I'm not suggesting we form a conga line.

long time ap user

I have been using 6 accounts for over two years. They all have different socials, one actually don't even have a social attached to it because it's so old. In a matter of 3 days, I've had 3 accounts shut down. I was not trying to hide anything and would often send $1000 payments from a to b back from b to a. I also had the same checking account linked to all of my accounts. So, I'm ....ed because I just did a very successful apporama and need to spend a large amount of money in the next 60 days. Any suggestions? I reopened an account with a social from an account that had been closed and successfully sent 99 dollars and then got that account closed after trying to send a 200+ payment. I was using a new CC and a new bank account. Is amazon on the crack down or what? I had big spending plans!

Meet the minimum spend needed for bonuses. Take your trip or vacation. Don't pay any cards back. File for bankruptcy.

= Bad faith bankruptcy filing = you're hoodgit in the whadgit.

(Just in case anyone reading that thought it was an even remotely plausible idea.)

I think you were asking for it with 6 accounts tied to same checking...

Ugh, .... Trying to unload VGCs and for some reason they keep getting "Pending" for a few hours and then fails. I check the transaction history on the card and see nothing pending. Any ideas?

Dammit, suspended this morning. Was first transfer, using different ip, different ssn, different name, different address, different bank account. .... Other than the last name there was nothing the same. Thinking about contacting them for this one...

Any other risk factors on your accounts? I just ran my first of many monthly payments and it was completed instantaneously. been running A - B - A for 2+ years.

Similar situation. Got an email this morning saying that it had come to their attention that I have multiple accounts, and that all accounts would be closed. However, each account belongs to a unique individual, so I'm guessing they don't like family members with the same last name to send money to each other?

If you contact them, let me know what happens. I'll probably do the same.

No, not that I know of. Really don't know what the issue could be.

Are they still putting a $1 hold on cards when you add it in AP since the expiration date trick stopped working? Since that stopped working I've been adding the cards from the normal Amazon account settings page and have not gotten a hold on any of the cards. Didn't know if it's because I've been doing it this way or they just stopped putting holds on new cards added.

The trick worked for me the last 5 cards I pushed through.
