Has anyone used the Sallie Mae card with AP and had success with getting 5% because of Amazon?

I know there seems to be no way to know what causes a closed account. But, I am curious to know if anyone has had an account closed and normally used that same account to purchase amazon products?

I do buy things from Amazon about 1x a month, so I may just spread my purchases between my accounts to show other activity.

AP has no relation to your amazon.com account. You will not lose access.

Are you sure about that? When i set up my primary amazon payment accounts, I signed in with my regular amazon username and password. I did not have to create a login. And then walked through the initial setup for the payment accounts. Now to get to the payment account, I still use the same username and password, and can toggle back and forth.

Edit: Yes I also checked and my Debit and Credit Cards from my primary amazon account were already associated with my new/first Amazon Payments account.

well, they are connected.. but in case you get shut out of AP account, they don't touch your Amazon shopping account..

Thank you. ^

Of course they're the same product from the same corporation, but they are subsidiaries of each other. One will not effect the other--thank goodness!

PainCorp, i don't know why you continue to edit out valid information from the wiki. it was easy to find at least one example of someone using multiple AP accounts with one SSN who got shut down, making it a valid concern to be aware of.

For those of you who are conservative and have multiple accounts thanks to family members like I will in a couple days, which is the safer route to take in your opinion:

A - B - C - D every month, or

A - B - C - D in month one, B - C - D - A in month two, and so on.

Have added BB as a bank, but could not get the account verified instantly, and test deposits have not appeared in the account after days and days. I will NOT call, but has anyone else had this problem?

Mine showed after a couple of days. I think it was like 3 or so.

When I added my Serve account, they put one deposit in the next day and then another deposit on the following day. Might just take time but if it doesn't show up, calling will probably be the best option even though you don't want to.

Its been more like a week. When I use a "regular" bank, that test deposits are deposited within 24 hours.

No, the "no call" rule definitely applies in my case.;)

Delete the Bank account in AP and add try again, and check all information is correct. Check for the name in AP when adding bank account, it's usually auto fill as name appears in AP (might be different if you adding someones else Bank info)
