Delete the Bank account in AP and add try again, and check all information is correct. Check for the name in AP when adding bank account, it's usually auto fill as name appears in AP (might be different if you adding someones else Bank info)

I'm still new to AP. I have a CC with an authorized user but it has the same CC number as mine. Are people having success with using CC's with different authorized users with the same CC number or is it best to use a different CC for each account?

But since we're making do with what we can, that's what you should do too. For the record, I've been making payments with an AU for another account, but have not used the CC holder (me) to make payments from the same card. I've yet to see any adverse action, but who's to say I won't be shut down tomorrow? |

Looks like we need yet ANOTHER hand out in the wiki. Use better search terms. ^ |
I recently set up AP accounts, first sent a test payment from Acct A for ~$25. A few days later sent ~$300 payment. Different names, SSNs, CC numbers, and bank accounts for Acct A and Acct B. Received the following email:
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to process your recent payment transaction(s). As part of our verification process, we request that you fax us a copy of a recent bank account statement confirming the name, address, and telephone number associated with the bank account presented for your transaction. To ensure that your fax is processed in a timely fashion, please be sure to include the email address associated with your Amazon Payments account. Our fax number is 1-866-216-1070. Please note that the statement must be sent via fax as we are unable to interpret attachments via email. ***Note*** Your Amazon payments account has been placed on hold. This means that you will not be able to access your transaction information online. Please do not initiate any further transactions or open a new Amazon Payments account until the billing information associated with your bank account has been verified. ********** If you are unable to send the fax, please ask the issuing bank to contact us so we may verify your billing information. The bank can contact us via the above fax number. The fax should include the name and fax number of a specific representative with whom we can correspond if necessary. Please don't hesitate to contact us should you have any questions and thank you for your interest in Amazon Payments. Sincerely, Account Specialist Amazon Payments https://payments.amazon.com I find it laughable though, that they lack the ability to receive documentation electronically. |
Did you use same browser/internet network/computer?

AMEX requires the same Faxing in their FRs. Like the NSA, maybe they want to have a phone record. Heck, maybe Amazon and AMEX are just NSA fronts.
OMG, ain't Amazon now into running drones....

I received an email reply back that "unfortunately the information you faxed did not allow us to verify the credit card on file". So at least we've narrowed it down that it's the CC. I guess I'll re-fax the CC statement and try again! |

I hate the fact we have to fax, who the hell has a fax nowadays? And not to mention fax = B&W so therefore you have to make sure your ID scans well.
