I do! But I usually do these on Fridays and see my money Saturday morning.
Maybe it's a combination of both |

Nope, different ones.
I received an email reply back that "unfortunately the information you faxed did not allow us to verify the credit card on file". So at least we've narrowed it down that it's the CC. I guess I'll re-fax the CC statement and try again! However that AP account and access to the Amazon (shopping) account are still not accessible. A couple of password reset attempts and two emails to them, and still no dice almost 24 hours later. It's strange, the password reset shows as successful, but when attempting to login immediately after, I continue getting a "problem with the email/password combination you entered" error message. Incognito mode, cleared cookies, all that good stuff. Hopefully will be able to get back in by tomorrow... ETA: It took a bit over 24 hours but account access is finally back. All's well that ends well... |
glad to hear it was resolved

I did not notice this thread before :/
I am not married, and my friends think MS is crazy, so I cannot use AP to send money to anyone. If I have AP accounts with my name, but different checking accounts, would that work? Has anyone tried this before? |

AP is rolling the dice. There are no firm rules since the Bezos headhunters have a real sense of humor. Would not rely on farming in the Amazon extensively as we have all got to save the rainforest to stop global warming. Why not cultivate beans locally. And not just one variety as the other is the gift that keeps on giving.:p

Does AP work with AMEX?
Does anyone have recent experience with AP spend counting towards meeting the minimum spend requirement for the MR sign-up bonus on AMEX? My next statment will cut after the 3 month minimum spend period ends, and if AP spending is not counted I will miss out on my sign up bonus. I am hoping to hear from some FT'ers who have had success earning the signup bonus after spending that included AP.
Thanks! |

AP business Accts.
I've read on this thread of many instances where accounts were closed where the speculation was because of multiple accounts with same info...CC # SSN, Bank acct.# etc. I have account for my wife and one for me with separate info. but would for obvious reasons like to add a third. I noticed the business acct. link in AP. My wife has business income (and lots of Business rewards cards, of course) but no EIN. Was thinking of using a separate CC and Bank acct. but same SSN as her personal acct. to open a business AP account. Would hate to have both of her accts closed. I realize there is nothing definite when it comes to AP but does anyone have any experience with this?

Dipping my toes in MS with AP. I sent a small transaction to my SO the other day, and am waiting for Amazon to deposit the funds.
I funded the transaction w/ a citi card, and followed everything mentioned in the wiki. So far, so good. |

if you open two AP accounts with your SS#, it's been reported several places that amazon will close both accounts.
this used to be in the wiki, but someone keeps deleting it. I don't think there is anything that is a killer here. I think you can go overboard with the number of accounts though and get red flagged. |
