China = 3 hotels ; Pudong , Guangzhou and mostly Beijing

Toronto

St Petersburg

Baku

Serengeti , Tanzania ( to open later this year , conversion of existing property )

Antoine Corinthios , in an interview to an Italian magazine , confirms FS Rome at Piazza Verdi ( seems to be an upscale neighbourhood but is away frm all attractions )

Any recent news about Four Seasons Barbados? When I was there about month ago I heard that there has been some delays and problems with the project.

Bahamas? Between Barbados and this project (any details?), I like that FS is starting to push into the Caribbean.

It's owned by Canyon Equity who own Aman's properties in the US. I am not surprised about this, although bringing in FS is a bit of a departure for Canyon.

http://press.fourseasons.com/pudong/...n-in-mid-2012/
interesting this mentions residences at pudong, wonder what min lease is

interesting guangzhou rooms were up apr 19 now down (still says mid 2012)
no rooms for st petersburg
no reservations for either

if beijing, shenzhen, tanzania (mentioned above) are opening will be interesting to see when they get sites

Kyoto is apparently a go, from a credible source of mine. In Higashiyama, near the hospital. Site is already acquired and deal closed, but construction has not begun. Sometime in 2014 or maybe 2015 is the plan. RC is much closer to reality, 2013, near the Okura downtown, on a property right by river.

Don't have any reliable information about Casa de campo FS being cancelled but my recent visit in this resort confirms that there is nothing going on. And honestly after I visited the planned site I would not think any serious hotel operator would ever build a hotel on that site. Really ugly location, no beach and ugly views over a close by factory. I'm sure FS can find a better location in Domenican Republic.
