Wondering if the Four Seasons in Beijing is likely to be ready for April, 2013. Anyone have any awareness of its state of completion?

They are saying late 2012. GM Sanjiv Hulugalle is already there, so I think April 2013 could be OK.

No, Santander is buying it. Four Seasons will be managing it.

If Santander buys it, then we will most probably soon see a new owner, called ESFS!

Finally confirmed. Billila Lodge will be upgraded and renamed "Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti, Tanzania". Other developments are a luxury tented safari camp in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and an exclusive beach resort on the island of Zanzibar.

As far as I know, although my experience is old, there are no permanent facilities within the crater caldera itself, although there are campgrounds there. Whether this place will be actually in the caldera or up on the rim with everything else would be quite interesting to know.
