The spa itself was a nightmare. Highest spa rates in the city, questionable spa pedigree and spa products and very green therapists. The hardware for a) waiting area b) relaxation areas are reminiscent of 80s Hyundai pleather and hard plastics with no service recovery in sight. Save your time and money from Evian Spa at Signiel Seoul.
Exactly my thoughts and I can judge this spa only from pictures!! Please tell me you didn't really have to pay before your treatment?

Good to see you around here, Aventine - it's been a while? ^

Yup.

Pay before you play. We both found it very distasteful, that, a self-proclaimed 6* hotel would ask for payment upfront. And they charged us 50 cents because we were 1-2 minutes over on the parking timer coming out of there.
50 cents is not a lot of money but usually the penny pinching begins after a year of losing money.

I am preparing to write a resort review. I gather I am to use the button at forum top. Yet my reviews are lengthy and not composed all at once. The review form does not seem to be set up for that. Any way to download the form on an IPAD for later upload?

Also using ONLY an IPAD, how do I upload photos?

Thankee

no way to download. not sure re ipad and photos, i know the system allows uploading of more photos. without using the system, photos can be attached to posts, under 'manage attachments' not sure what the limit is per post. there is also http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/album.php?do=addalbum which was original method

could always start a thread, and then add at least one, or even multiple (partial) reviews (using the system) to that thread, using "reply with review" button.

It isn't so tough...but I prefer using the Expert Review format particularly because it is SO much easier to upload photos--whether it be from the iPhoto library or another drive source on your iPad. I find Expert Review to be the easiest way to do reviews, now...and now despise the old Trip Report format because the uploading of photos was so clumsy.

You should be able to cut and paste into the categories as provided for by Expert Reviews. Or you can customize the categories as per your liking if you want. So you can truly customize the Expert Review to be exactly like a Trip Report using the new format--as long as it's focused entirely on a single resort/hotel property.

You can PM me for any requests should you need.

Wow, I didn't know you could do multiple "expert reviews" in a single thread post. Thanks, Kage!

I usually use laptop to do these Expert Reviews, but I have used iPad, too. It's all about where you store and/or can access the photos!

While reading about the new GM of the Dukes Hotel, Dubai, UAE I learned about a hotel chain in China which is named...Tonino Lamborghini and they're growing...

Also of note from their website...

Many people want to experience luxury because they believe in extraordinary life moments. Traditionally it can be seen as something expensive which most people cannot afford in everyday life. We believe it is the happiness in people’s hearts which really matters; where luxury is a state of mind rather than a state of possessions.

What sets Tonino Lamborghini China hotels apart is the extra dimension of escapism. Our hotels in China offer guests a chance to experience, however briefly, a lifestyle that is charming and special.
Please see:

Has anyone here in the forum any experience with this particular hotel chain in China?

Cheers & Safe Travels. ^

Westin HAM with very bland decor, Spa is fully outsourced. Is this a Westin brand standard?

Seems boundaries of (over?)branding see no end in China. Frightful!

Thoughtful addition to all Wynn & Encore rooms by visionary business man, Steve Wynn: Amazon Echo. Who isn't tired of all the panels you need a degree in engineering for, all working differently. Now you can just ask.

Steve Wynn Discusses The Addition of Amazon Echo to All Hotel Rooms
haha might as well scream at an AI than an inanimate panel.
