I was in DF (see, I'm a fast learner) about 20 years ago. The most memorable part was being carjacked by the police right out of the parking garage of the airport. No, my name is not Ryan Lochte and I'm not an Olympian. Just a regular guy going down for work who got jacked by the police. Stuff happens.

Finally finalized honeymoon

1 night Park Hyatt Tokyo
1 night FS Hong Kong
8 nights Jumeirah Dhavanefushi
1 night Grand Hyatt Nusa Dua
4 nights Alila Uluwatu
1 night Pan Pacific Singapore

Used points for Grand Hyatt Nusa Dua - incredibly long travel day from MLE and dont want to waste the money when wife and I will be cranky.
Used suite upgrade at Park Hyatt.

Grabbing dinner at Iwa and lunch at Rozan in Hong Kong, Hasiguchi in Tokyo, and possibly Ichi in singapore, though im not sure the shari is of particular good quality

Hope you have an amazing time. I have very fond memories of Alila Ulutawu and would gladly go back.

Even though I said I was done with booking anymore holidays this year, Andrew Harper had an amazing deal on for La Reserve Paris so I decided to take it and will go for 3 nights next month.

DF has changed a LOT in the past 20 years, let alone 10...or 5 even.

It's an incredible city. I've hesitated going for eons, went last year with the wife, and we had a blast.

So, actually look forward to heading back to 'el DF'

I just returned from the Park Hyatt Vienna where I had a great stay in the Ambassador Suite. Next up: the Dorchester in two and a half weeks.
