I'm not so sure. C7,C8,C9 are all on the lower level which suggests they may be bus gates. Yes, just walk to B and go through security.

Hello!
Figured I'd ask here - we're traveling through FRA in September coming back from our honeymoon with a 1 hour 5 minute layover. Is taht enough time to get through?
We're traveling Lyons (LYS) - FRA - JFK with US Passports, and several large suitcases which will be checked.

Hi,
I'm flying SEA-YVR-FRA-ICN soon, and the flights are operated by:
SEA-YVR: AC
YVR-FRA: LH
FRA-ICN: OZ
I arrive in FRA at 10:50 am and depart out of FRA at 7 pm on OZ the same day.
Since I have more than 8 hours to kill in Frankfurt, I plan on visiting the city during the day (do some sight seeing), and I have some questions about my connection in FRA:
1) Do I need to obtain my FRA-ICN boarding pass in FRA, or should I be able to obtain the boarding pass for this flight in SEA or YVR?
The reason I ask this is because I may try to get back to the airport after I spend a few hours in the city before the OZ check-in counter opens at FRA.
If I don't have the FRA-ICN boarding pass with me, I would have to wait till the OZ check-in counters open, right?
2) Do I need to claim and re-check luggage at FRA?
If yes, is there any place to store luggage temporarily at the airport?
I'd hate to carry a big suitcase with me in the city during my short sight seeing trip.
3) Although I don't think it will happen, if for whatever reason I decide to stay at the airport during my 8-hour connection, do I still need to clear customs at FRA?
Thanks a lot in advance-

3) No.

About #1 though, from my limited experience flying OZ in the past, doing online check-ins with OZ didn't provide me mobile boarding passes for some reason, and I still had to pick up actual BPs at the check-in counters.
However, things may have changed or maybe I was doing things wrong, so I will give it another try if I fail to obtain a BP at YVR or SEA.

any possibility of this working:

LH128 FRA-STR departs 0935
UA153 STR-EWR
LH1139 BCN-FRA arrives 0905

I am travelling FDH-FRA-ORD-OMA in July. My flight from FDH-FRA on LH gets to FRA at 0705 and my leg FRA-ORD on UA leaves FRA at 0810. Is this going to be a challenge to make?

As long as FDH inbound is on time you should be OK- I would not waste any time in making this however. Last week I arrived from ORD at Z gates FRA with a transit time of 65 minutes for VCE flight- walking very quickly and without wasting any time- I arrived for the VCE flight and it was already boarding with just a few people left to board prior to departure (doors closed about 3 minutes after I was onboard). It was tight- I would say we were about 12 minutes late on arrival at FRA followed by a very slow door opening process for some reason- even as one of the first people off the aircraft- if we were 15 minutes later I would not have made it.

Both flights are LH, if that makes it any better?

Not normally AFAIK. A delayed departure could mean a missed slot, delayed arrival and some passengers missing their connecting flight.
