I have a one hour return connection at FRA. Arriving from within the EU (ZAG) Croatia Air, but connecting to YYZ on Air Canada - both are Star Alliance flights.
Is one hour really enough time to get off the plane, go through customs/security, and make it on to my international flight?
It doesn't matter to me if I miss my flight, but wondering what the likelihood of this is.

Although Croatia is in the EU it is not a Schengen country, so you will have to clear security but no passport control between the flights.
One hour is tight but if your flight from ZAG arrives on time you will be fine. There is a fast track security lane for passengers with less than 30 minutes before their connecting flight.

AGP - FRA - SFO with just 60 minutes Layover
LH1499 - 01.06.14 Malaga - Frankfurt 13:25 16:25
LH9126 - 01.06.14 Frankfurt - San Francisco 17:25 19:45
LH9126 - 01.06.14 Frankfurt - San Francisco 17:25 19:45
It's going to be my first time flying via FRA to SFO, and I've previously made it via CDG which I don't think that it could be worst than that.
Do you have any ideas where the AGP flight arrives and where the SFO flight departs from?
Many thanks and I am happy to be part of this community.

LH1149 (rather than LH1499) does not seem to operate every day but if you check the arrival information for LH1151 on lufthansa.com you will find that it can arrive at an A gate, B gate or at a bus gate. This makes planning a little difficult.
LH9126 is operated by United and is likely to depart from a Z gate. Look out for departure information for UA927 as well as LH9126 on display boards. You will have to clear passport control and document check but there's no need to clear security in FRA.
If your flight from AGP is not late you should be fine. Just follow the signs for your departure gate.

Many thanks for your reply NewbieRunner. Seems the flight operates only on Sundays. Thank you for spotting the mistake in the AGP-FRA one.
I hope is not a bus gate or otherwise it's going to be super tight. I've been checking some stats on: http://es.flightaware.com/live/flight/DLH1149 and found out that it took them 2:30 hours instead of 3 hours these last two Sunday flights.
Do you know of a resource that could provide me where this flight arrived in the last few times and if it was on time or not?
Many thanks for your fantastic and useful help!

Yet another question about lounge access
Hello Flyertalkers,
To get a reward ticket with the long segments on LH F I had to take a route with a few stops. I'll be flying YUL-MUC in first, then on to FRA in business and finally on to EDI in business. All flight are on LH metal. Will I have access to a first class lounge during my short layover in FRA?
Thanks for your input!

Thanks a lot NewbieRunner!
Thanks also for spotting the error in my flight number, just mistyped it
Do you have any website or resource to check to which gate did the AGP-FRA flight did arrive to in the last few times? What I could see is that it arrived in 2:30 hours instead of the 3 hours that it has programmed.
I am actually thinking that this flight is pretty tight and specially if I have to get via a bus gate?
PS: I posted via "fast reply" and it went into moderation queue.

When you find your flight, click on 'Additional options' > 'Flight details' (or just 'Flight details' for flights in the past) and you will see the arrival gate number in FRA. You can check the gate number for yesterday, today and a couple of days ahead in some cases, though they can change at the last minute.

Hello,
My parents are traveling LH755 connecting on UA 969 to US. They have about 2.5 hrs of connecting time and guess it is sufficient make a transit from B to Z gates.
My question - usually LH755 flight arrives at A or B gates; but when I check the flight status for May 6th, it says Z69A and checked for the past 3 days and it always arrives at B gate. Does anyone know if LH755 arrives at Z gates instead of A/B gates

The letter A after the number means 'arrival' because most arrivals from non-Schengen countries enter the terminal on a different level (arrival level) from the departure gates.

Thanks NewbieRunner. If they arrive either at B or Z gates, they would clear the security at Z gate after taking the BAZ train

If they arrive in B I think security if after they take the train. If they arrive in Z there's no need to take the train but security will be in the central area of Z which could be quite a long walk from the arrival gate (especially from Z69A).

Now the arrival gate has been updated to B26A. Sorry for this question; but how far is the train from this gate since my elderly parents walk slowly.

Are they actually arriving in FRA tomorrow morning? If so, the arrival gate of LH755 is now showing as B23A which might be marginally closer. The departure gate of UA969 is shown as Z16 which is about the closest to the Skyline platform as one can get. However, I'm not certain where security clearance takes place as I have not followed this route for some time. It's possible that security check is in the central area of Pier Z (area marked in red) and they will have to walk there and back after getting off the Skyline train.
If they can walk the distance (approx. 3/4 mile), however slowly, 2.5 hours should be more than enough for the connection.

Thanks once again. My parents just checked-in at BLR airport, but they didn't recieve the onward boarding pass (FRA-EWR) and were told to get at FRA airport. This might be another cause of concern as they have to find a 'ticketing counter' where they can get the boarding pass. Without boarding pass, how will they clear security to the gates.
do you know where they can get the boarding pass or nearest boarding pass counter
