Hi -

I searched it, but could not find the exact answer.

What if:

Arriving FRA by LH F and connecting on OS flight number which actually is operated by Tyrolean Airways?

Thanks in advance.

Tyrolean is part of austrian airlines group. Same rules as for OS.

no problem, unless they really changed the rules which wont allow you in if you are only on a C connection flight... but in general OS (VO operated) flights are fine, just did so a few days ago...

I would go for the FCL in T1 close to A26. This is inside Schengen area and your departure gate is probably not too far away. The FCL provides access for sure for F arrivals, whereas FCT access is on risk now. It could happen, they send you back, since your connection is in C.

No, you have access at the FCT. No problem, when the connection is in C.

You may want to have a look at this post:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showp...&postcount=188

or this thread in general (page 13, post 184 ff.):
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showt...730930&page=13

It comes in line with some informations I got recently from the HON service group.

Connecting F to C, FCT Access?

Hello All,

In March I will be flying JFK-FRA in F and FRA-CDG in C (a forward routing off of my F ticket since they don't offer F for intra-Europe routes). I could swear that I have read TRs stating that if you connect to C you cannot access the FCT at FRA. However, a LH rep just told me on the phone that since they don't offer F to CDG, I would be welcome to use the FCT. What is the truth?

Thanks.

I just went through FRA on Monday (JFK->FRA in F, connecting to FRA->IST in C). Because of what I read on lufthansa.com, I assumed I could no longer go to the FCT as I would not be driven to my C connection. I went to the FCL in B instead (I ended up in both FCLs in B, I must say the one out by B27 is MUCH nicer then the one by the casino, I wish I had researched that). Anyway, when I went to the FCL, I asked the attendant if I could still use the FCT on a connection to C, and she said absolutely yes. The website makes it sound pretty clear that you are only going to be driven to an F connection. So - the truth is elusive in this case.

LH Lounge access at FRA. In on UA F award ticket. Friend in UA C.

? I am into FRA on UA in F using points. Out on LH in F. Upon arrival into FRA we have a long layover before flying onto Amman on LH in C. Can I use the LH F Lounge at FRA? Better yet can I use the LH F terminal? I am a 1k. Would my friend beable to enter the Lounge with me as my guest? I've been trying to get on LH in F but it is not available. Any other pointers appreciated. Thanks.

You can't use the FCL nor FCT based on your UA F ticket, they're only for LH-metal flights. If your FRA-Amman clears into F, then I believe you can use the FCL/FCT. In that case, your LH C friend may join you only if he's on the same flight as you.

Make sure you go to the First Class Terminal, not the First Class Lounge. The FCT is amazing.

I've been to the FCT. That is why everyone should prefer to fly on LH instead of UA in/out of FRA. That being said UA First Suites are better than LH 2 by 2 in upper deck. So. What can we use at FRA? UA RCC. Thanks.

This all depends on time. They won't take you to the FCT if there's less than 1.5 hours between flights.

UA RCC or LH SEN lounges...nothing too great.

You should keep checking to see if F availability opens on LH for your TATL flight.
