Personally I like row 1 (more private, and I like the slight curvature of being in the nose), however row 2 feels further away from neighbours. You can't really go wrong.

My next flight on the B748 will be in 1A and 1K (to and fro) and that's not by accident!
All the seats are equally long and wide, just the orientation is slightly different due to the curvature of the plane.

I'll be taking the B748 across the pond and back next month, and unfortunately in the back of the bus. All the seats in row 27 are already taken, are there any "second-best" seats that would make sense to reserve? How about row 16, especially 16C and 16H - is it possible to stretch the legs past the bulkhead, or should I opt for a regular seat (I'm generally not a fan of bulkheads)?

The bulkhead "finishes" approx at the middle seat, so you can Stretch your legs past it....

I just had two flights in C on this aircraft. First, sat in 7G. Aisle middle seat on lower deck. Had plenty of room. Foot space was large. Second, sat in 81A, bulkhead window seat upstairs. Foot indent was tight; although, the window bins were very useful. I slept fine on both flights.

Decisions, decisions ... oh the humanity!
Traveling by myself: 1A or 1K or 2A
2K is taken, so perhaps I should rule out 1K ... to balance out the cabin

Thanks! I hadn't thought of that ... it will be dark for much of the flight, but will still be light when we take off. Which side would be better so I can get some good pics of FRA (assuming weather cooperates)?
