Todays LH-seat:
That clarifies the livery.
Code:
B747-8 in full Lufthansa livery.
These photos were from the PAINEAIRPORT.COM
Isn't she a beauty, the LH livery looks very sleek on the 747-8, much better than the A380

New F
I assume this bird is fitted with the new F product being based in FRA? Are those both good assumptions?
What about delivery time, routes, etc... Any ideas, insider info?

All I can says "WOW!!!" she's so gorgeous!!! I can't wait to see it. LH will put first revenue flight FRA-DEN or IAH. I am looking forward to it. I bet lots of those customers are very excited to flying on 748I.

Delivery is expected in Q2 of 2012. There is no info on routes but I think they will just switch them around on the current 3 class 747 routes ex FRA.
No 747 ex MUC but as I have stated before, I see them there in a few years when they will have to make the decision to either add a flight or get a larger aircraft type (when the A346 will be not enough capacity on certain routes)

No great F lavatory, its just one at the existing location near door 1, and its the standard Boeing lavatory. So the ratio of lavatories to F pax will go significantly down (for those who care about such finer points)
The 748i will be used in the high density markets to lift enormous amounts of C/Y pax. So think ORD, NYC, India. From what I saw its not a jaw dropping new aircraft, just a 747 with a very good update (777 interiors, lots of LED) The Y seat will be the one currently coming into the 744 this summer. And of course the new C.
