Looks like she was put on hold doing the rounds and now about to land.

I hope they will give her a shower welcome salute with the water trucks!

You didn't have to search very far - only about 10 threads down. Yes, D-ABYE aka BOE021 landed in FRA this afternoon.

So when will the new Business stools be mounted?

No pun intended. I'd even lower myself to fly on a 747 in order to test the new chair.

LH says within a matter of months fleetwide once first 747-8i is delivered. To be determined I guess. Sorry that you have to slum it in a 748....

Some hints in this post by hamallu.

  • 5 x B748s to be delivered next year (FRA based)
  • 3 x new A333s to be delivered next year (MUC based)
  • new C retrofit will be rolled out from the next heavy maintenance season i.e. winter 2012/2013

You forget those A380s that LH will receive next year. I assume the ones that enter the fleet after the first B747-8 will have the new C as well...

So your guess would be that I could wallow in the new stool on a 333 or even a 380 and would not have to enter a 747?

That would be piggyshly good.

Saw the bird today in FRA.

It has no LH signs on the body or tail. It is just white body with blue tail. It was funny to see it.
