that shouldn't be a problem. on my recent SIN-AMS I slept during meal service and was served food and drinks when I woke up.

Flight in Y from AMS-YVR (9.5hr flight) featured 1 meal, 1 snack bag, and 1 small slice of pizza 1hr prior to arrival.

https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...32a2b4c6d3.jpg
Meal was vegetarian pasta (no choice), half pesto sauce, half tomato sauce. A cold pasta salad side dish (a bit too much pasta on one plate?), and dessert was vanilla mousse with bischoff crumbles and caramel sauce.
https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...5c0ee1baa3.jpg
Snackbag includes 6+ things: Stroopwaffel, 2 refreshing handtowels, can of coke, cheese slice, salted crackers, muesli cereal bar, 2 packs of pizza flavoured crackers.

Obligatory photo of the Rocky Mountain range.

Very small pizza 1hr prior to arrival with zucchini and bell pepper.

Hope this helps! Short-haul VCE-AMS was slice of lemon bread, sealed water, and drink of choice.
Crew walked around the cabin, could get more drinks as needed. All in all, very kind service.

That main sure looks gooey. Was it edible?

Maybe they should instill some Rocky Mountain spine in their meals. Or chefs.

KLM’s egg sandwich in Y

This goes directly into my Top 3 of most horrible things I’ve ever eaten.

I trust you never ventured beyond that first bite. :D

I couldn't even if I wanted to...the thing was drier than the Sahara desert. Any sort of pastry would have been 10x better.

That's a shame because I think KLM catering is way better than Air France at the moment. It's still paper cup of water service in Business on Air France at the moment.

Pesto side of pasta was more or less salt-flavoured, tomato sauce side had an "essence of tomato" taste (better than the pesto side.)
For an airline still trying to serve warm meals, I can't complain :)

Looks horrible. KLM would be better off serving hot toast with butter than that weird egg wrap.

AMS - MEX

Almost back to normal, but not quite there yet.

- Pre-departure drink
- After departure drink with nuts in a bag, not a bowl
- Starter
- Main
- Dessert
- Coffee / tea / liqueur
- chocolate huisje
- snack basket at the front of the cabin
- fruit juice service
- sandwich service (no choice)
- fruit juice service
- supper & bar service
- Bols huisjes

Outstanding crew, excellent service. No hiding in the galley. Purser came and chatted three times.

The IFE and the seat sucked, the wifi never worked. They blamed the provider.

Really nice, except for that stale bread roll.

Sea bass & avocado.

The carrot ribbons. Looks like something from a septic tank, but to my surprise it tasted just fine.

As good as it looks.

Stale, lacking in flavor. Egg, not cheese. Not sure how Beemster comes into the picture, except literally of course.

OK, but should probably have gone for the quiche instead.

Cheese was yucky, but could be scraped off.

Waldorf & pecan pals.

If you bothered to scroll up, you’ll see that there are food offered as I mentioned in the other thread. although it would be helpful to specify *which* european routes
