The Wonderful Wanders Salads now come in the original Wonderful Wanders Box again.

Had a conversation with the purser about KL's shorthaul catering. We quickly agreed that all these salads were getting very long in the tooth, and that more variety would be greatly appreciated, but won't happen anytime soon.

That looks quite cheap and nasty :( On my way back from Stockholm to Amsterdam last week they had Cordoniu on board, maybe it has finished ... (not entirely my fault!)

No, Prosecco is a huge downgrade from Cava which is a huge downgrade from Champagne.

I've always found the idea that imbibing champagne at any time of day or night is an essential and emblematic part of the in-flight experience in F & J a bit puzzling and rather amusing too.

A Refreshment Towel!

Got one on a flight a few days ago. The towel of course comes cold, but look at that cute wrapper! Windmills, tulips, huisjes, wooden clogs, bikes traveling in opposite directions and even a couple in kleederdracht kissing! Especially the latter is a bold and daring choice. Not only are they obviously male and female, but they have been sexualized too. Any number of people may take exception and accuse KLM of a host of awful crimes such as sexism, cultural appropriation, gender insensitivity, and you name it.

Ah, here they are! :-) I noticed them in the lounge (near the cutlery and condiments at the buffet "check out") for the last couple months and was wondering why they are there, but never on board.

It is the exact AF thing, with a KLM branded packaging. AF is handing them out to J class (short and long haul) for a long time. I like them :-)

Got one today morning along with the wonderful Wanders Box and was wondering how those towels found their way onboard the aircraft.
