Here are my today’s menu and meal from AMS. It was good.
Here was the breakfast from GOT-AMS. I enjoyed this meal a lot more than the breakfast I've always been served on other short-haul flights this year (rock-hard roll with cheese and cold cuts). Unfortunately the stressful landing in AMS gave my stomach some regrets. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...dafcb1f2c3.jpg |
Dear all,
Does anyone have an idea of the items on the menu in Business on the CUR-AMS route in February? I recently upgraded my flight,CUR-AMS, however the KLM-app doesn't load the menu. Thank you for your help. |

some catering changes have come into effect from AMS , effective end of january onwards. Main differences are;
Longhaul C class 3rd meal option is Asian rice table dish. Likely it is also offered on CUR AMS . In economy on flights over 10hours eg CUR the 2nd meal tray incl hot item has returned and in between a sandwich is offered iso foodbag. No meal option in economy however special meals have been available for quiet some time Sandwiches on European flights have also changed, on the shortest flights a cake in an enveloppe will be offered, drinks remain same bonne appetit! |
Hello,
Quick one from me. In business, is Dublin a "Bun in bag" or is it a "tray". Ventured on to Alitalia last week. Geneva to Roma return, service consisted of "Nothing" in both directions. Not even a plastic glass of water. Certainly paints our KLM in a good light. J |
The service depends on the so called service ring; Dublin is in medium ring( over 60 minutes actual flying time) meaning in C Class you will receive the mealbox (breakfast in morning 05-11h59 , rest of day/salad for moment afterwards).
Destinations in Short currently are; BHX BLL CDG FRA HAM HUY LBA LCY LHR MAN NCL SOU STR these destinations willl see the little bag in the front and enveloppe with cake and a mint in economy. The very shortest flights eg BRU/BRE might have more limited beverage options But dont worry in any case you will still receive always some kind of snack and beverage service including wine/beer/hot drinks in both classes safe travels! |

What a relief to see the bulgur salad is still there! And they have even changed the dessert . . . wow!
Have given KL and AMS a miss since this testing nonsense started. Last KL flight was on New Year's Eve, which means I have yet to have a Caesar's salad this year. Can't say I miss them. Johan |

Oh and it was interesting to see the 4 klm crew in the cabin (deadheading back to ams) being offered extra food by the purser as apparently there were plenty of extra crew meals loaded. Priorities I guess.. |

I also flew long-haul yesterday (AMS-IAD) and had the same menu. I didn't enjoy the sea bass (fish had a strange texture), but the salmon dish with udon noodles was very good. For the second course I had the quiche. Not bad but the apple tart was awful. Served cold and the crust was still frozen.

What band are SVO flights to Russia and what do they serve in J on that route for 11:35am departure and 5:30am coming back?

Another flight, another ceasars. (With sticker)

Having served the same salad for at least eight months now, they finally decided it was time to misspell its name on the menu? :D :D
I suspect they will soon serve a Bulgar salad too. On the sticker they only missed out two out of three diacritics in crème brûlée. Good going! Joahn |
