Oh my, I'd be worried about them coming to my office!

Just booked two nights at the IC Melbourne for late April before my current membership expires. Using the PP BOGO and it shows the full price on the first night and $0 for the second on the confirmation. When the stay posts, will it show as 2 nights or just 1 in my nights count? I know when I use the Ambassador BOGOs, I get credit for both nights, but I can't recall how my previous PP BOGO stays got credited/counted.

They normally post for me as two nights.

Ah, good. Having received the 15 night promo I will need every one I can get for the 2nd quarter.

Can I ask what may appear to be some stupid questions?

1. If I book rewards nights (thinking of doing this at the IC Melbourne for the first weekend in April) do I get points for these nights?
2. If I wanted to use one of my BOGO vouchers how do I do this?

With the BOGO i am assuming it is a priority privilege certificate (not an ambassador one) , in which case you make the booking through the priority privilege website.

For stays at an IC you don’t earn points on a rewards stay, at other properties you do earn them only on additional expenditure and they do not count as qualifying nights.

Thanks so much for explaining this. I'm only relatively new to the system so I'm still trying to work out how everything works and what the best way is to do things to earn maximum points.

Given you don't earn points for rewards nights I am thinking it's better that I use one of my BOGO vouchers (I've already used my Ambassador one so I have Priority Privilege ones to use).

There is no such thing as Priority Privilege Gold, priority privilege is a paid program and is different to Priority Club, the BOGO you get as an ambassador is different to the BOGOS you buy as part of the PP membership.

Sorry, I got the Priority Club and Priority Privilege mixed up.

No worries, and try not to use all your BOGOs from PP up, they have monthly specials where you can get the BOGO conditions without surrendering the cert, so you can use it again. You do need to show that you still have a cert when using the special (I had to today when I checked in) which is new.

Trick is to wait until the first of the month to see if your hotel is a BOGO special or what other offer is available, then change your booking to take advantage of it.

Specials are here: http://www.priorityprivilege.com/PPA...terMar2010.htm

Thanks markis. I am hoping that the IC Melbourne will have a BOGO special for April.

But you must join the PP program (A$285 a year) and actually receive the certificates, which can take two or three weeks to arrive. This is not the same a Priority Club. Please go back and read this thread and then use the link to check out the details of the PP program. Also, suggest you go to the PC website and read the T&Cs of that program. Obviously you need to do the basics before asking questions that can otherwise easily be answered by reading the information supplied by the programs themselves.

Tried to purchase the card on-line from Europe, but the payment was not accepted. Guess because used non AUS credit card. Is therefore phone the only way to join this program?
