I'd be interested to know if anyone can renew in NZ$ from the markis10 link above, by clicking [Hotels] from the site menu at the top, then selecting any New Zealand hotel. The price appears to change from A$260 to NZ$260 via that method, but not sure if you can then follow all the way through to 'checkout'.

i did this - i think the trick was to sign out and start from scratch otherwise it doesn't let you complete it

Did this come via email from PP? My membership expires at the end of April, so I assume I should wait for a renewal email rather than pro-actively renew now? I just want to make sure my renewal kit arrives in advance of my possible next trip to Australia in later May.

From memory I got the option of the $100 dining or extra BOGO last year when I renewed online, after clicking on the cough cough link ;) to get it down by 10%.

I managed to sign up and get the 20% HSBC Visa discount in Australia. The operator didn't want to honour this offer originally. She asked to see the website and had to talk to a supervisor but eventually gave in. Now I just have to wait for the vouchers to arrive.

If you look back a few pages I had the same problem last October. I ended up signing up using the HSBC discount over the phone (after I had been told twice they couln't do it over the phone and I had to do this online despite the HSBC site specifically saying you had to call :( ). Anyway, I did NOT receive the $100 dining voucher in the end despite asking repeatedly whether I would loose any benefits if I joined again (you have to join again and will get a new number when you use the HSBC promotion). They only told me that I would not have my correct "member since" date on the card as I would join from scratch...but I didn't care about the date. I have complained a number of times but given up now. Won't use the HSBC code again this year...

I also tried joining via the NZ$ rate but never succeeded. Good luck and let us know how it went

I had the same problem in China. I called and they came to my office. Great savings through the program.

Yep - the confirmation email includes my AU address. I was using a different computer than normal, so no cookie issues.
