The offers are for booking in the same month, so September offers dont apply to October.

What I normally do if I am planning a stay a few months away is book it using the BOGO or 25% off, which are cancelable rates, and then if good offers come out, cancel the original booking and book the offer.

Places like Sydney seem to normally have offers, other places can be more sparse.

Yes, rates have been particularly high in Sydney when I'm back later in the month. HIs Old Sydney and Potts Pt were both higher than the IC for a while! Not even any dining specials...but I do see my room at the IC has now been upgraded to a Club one.

That should read 15% off AP rate, otherwise I would have booked the whole month:eek:

I recently joined from a referral link like the one i am posting here. it gives your a discount of the joining fee. My link expires on the 30th september.

As well as giving you a discount when you join, my email says I get a bottle of wine for every one that join and a breakfast for every three. From what I read they are not always forthcoming with this but it will be a nice bonus if they do.

I would like to know if its very interessting to join PP program for an Ambassador member (I havent this status yet, Im just thinking about that), particulary if I have a Club access? And I have Starwood Privilege card, its better or not for Australia?

The PP program is more about room discounts rather than status, for instance you get two BOGOs that dont have to be used on a weekend.

How did you end up getting an extra BOGO and supplementary card for free? I was sent the $100 dining discount cert link to renew my membership online. Has anyone been able to combine this online offer with a discounted membership price? Are all discounted links dead (little nomads, unwind magazine etc)?

Do you have to renew online to get the $100 dining voucher or can this be done over the phone? I haven't had much luck with the online renewal in the past.

Back in May/June the extra BOGO and supp card seemed to be the going offer to renew. Didn't matter with online or over the phone. While in the past they offered the $100 voucher, this year it was not offered to me.

I received the $100 dining voucher with my renewal back in March.

Personally the extra BOGO is much more attractive than the $100 voucher.

Last year I was offered a choice of the $100 voucher, supp card or BOGO. This year it was the supp card and BOGO.

I don't know about renewing the same account, but AFAIK you can have two (or more) PP accounts.

my PP account expired a couple of months back and I wasn't ready to renew as I had just given birth and had no travel plans

Now we are ready again - anyone know if i can still renew and get a bonus or will it be as a new customer?
