oh god....why. why did you do this to me.
i have called them and how the hell do you guys stand these people.
first of all there is background disturbance.
the number of times i have heard "please bear with me" is not even funny.
now i am told that it is operated by codeshare partner and they cant redeem. after explaining to them that it is not and giving dates finally she gets it.
and now they say call back in a day or 2 as its a new partner and they are having problems figuring out details.
22 min and nothing happened.

JP really needs to improve in this department ...redemption's on their flights both domestic and international are quite easy but this partner redemption is really bad and considering their minimal global reach and dependence on other airline partners, this is cruical..

Have they done something worse than these?
- I first state that I want to check award availability using miles for a COK-DFW flight, but that I want certain flights. I give each flight # and surprisingly everything was going so smooth and quick. At the end I ask how many miles would be needed. She says - "oh I did not know you wanted those flights" then repeats the process. At the end I ask how many miles and she says USD 4,073 ish. I then tell her I do not want a revenue ticket, but a mileage ticket and she says "did not know that, let me transfer you to the skymiles dept"
- Piece together a BOM-CDG on AF and then DL on low till DFW. The mileage comes to 120K. I said something is wrong as the cost to India is 80K. She gets on the defensive and states that this is the lowest mileage according to the computer and that is right. Stubbornly refuses to look at the itin or involve rate desk/supervisor. Finally she budges. Comes back a minute later saying she asked her colleague to look at it and everything is right. Fight with her again and she brings in a supervisor, who just won't let me talk. Instead blabs that the computer is correct. After holding my ground, she looks at each flight and realizes that BOM-CDG was in business class.
Anything beat this?

9W Dubai -BOM
Mod, please move as nesc.
I booked two business class seats using AA miles . Had a record locator for each. Miles came from respective accounts. Paid the fees.
two days later called AA , was told Jet Airways had cancelled the res.
No explanation.
Tried to recreate the same as fresh res. Only one J per flight available.
Is this standard for 9W ?
Thank you.

Depends on how 9w wishes to offer availability, but this is usually the way they do it, plus 2 seats in Y...
