I do have access to Amex MR too. So would kris flyer be the best option with MR? I also have access to chase UR points if that would help?

Don't think UR would help. First check award availability on AI by calling SQ and then transfer points.

When is this trip? If you can wait till UL joins 1W, then you can use 18K BA for a RT. You can transfer Amex/UR to BA. Often Amex runs a 50% bonus on transfers to BA.

Trip is in nov. UL is a option too but I need a stop in CMB while AI has a direct flight which is better. I tried checking Krisflyer online now but it is not finding the flight online. Guess need to call in to check if they have it. Any other airline from MR or UR that would also be worth considering?

And something related.. do airlines usually accept 9 month pregnant ladies even if doc gives fit to fly certificate ?

I thought not. Would be a big risk IMHO to fly them. Must have cost EK a packet to land and then reroute pax's to other flights later.

Quite impressed with the way OW is going.

Transferring isn't that bad-it nets you more miles.

Yes in Y. I know 25k is a little high. But if UL via avios gets me there with just 9k avios once they become available then I will cancel AI and just use avios to get there via CMB.

Not bad. How was availability on AI? Did you get the exact dates you looked for?

How much was the YQ and total taxes? When you called SQ were they able to confirm availability immediately or did they have to place a request and wait for a response from AI?
