It's true... the local versions do have simlock on them. The price for one is probably about the same as one in the US, too. It should work as Oliver says, though (just make sure you get an unlocked one... although there are lots of folks here who will assist you with locked equipment as well, just in case :D).

Ai was affected badly 2 days back when news first broke out. Tonight I am sure there will be disturbance too. Was supposed to do a flight but didn't go. They did manage to find someone else from what I hear. Crew staying in western and northern suburbs are reaching but doubt about those staying in east and south
