I think I heard that partners who were booked on ansett miles honored the tickets. Hope ITs partners do the same.

The Calcutta Clipper lounge was closed yesterday when I went there, with no information if that is temporary being renovated, or just plain closed.. anyone has a clue..????

I am done with the Citibank Jet airways card as a Ashtray on a Motorbike is more useful then JP miles.

I am not aware of what its competitor is. Can anyone advise what would be a good card to get?

Anyone making their way back to BOM/MAA/CCU/DEL from the US in the next week or two? If you are, and able to bring back something small, PM me - would appreciate it...

Not in the next week, but hopefully by Easter! Happy to help you out then if you still need whatever it is.

Tried it. But they only offer this in Metro's and not in the smaller cities.

Keyser I don't really need any benefits, just want the max miles earnings. I currently spend between 5-8L a month on my card so earning around 30k JP miles a month. As you know that is useless so wanted to earn LH/BA or some other miles. Obviously not keen on the Amex IT card no more.

Well, you only get 3 miles per Rs. 100/- on the LH card, not like 4 per 100/- on Jet's, but given that Jet's are pretty useless, then you have to contact IndusInd Bank who took over Deutsche Bank's cc biz.

Keyser, wondering which programs you can transfer into with the PremierMiles card?

Appears to be pretty useless if one has only like 4 airlines - they fudge a lot in their documentation - can you advise the real deal?

Edited to Add:

Just checked and these are the partners to transfer into - not a great deal with earning at 2.5 miles per Rs. 100/-!:

Airlines for Transfer of Miles
International airline partners

KrisFlyer on Singapore Airlines
Asia Miles on Cathay Pacific
Royal Orchid Plus on Thai Airways

Domestic Airline Partners

Jet Airways
Kingfisher Airlines
Air India

Also, SQ miles suck, TG - Lallyr, you know very well how their miles are! :p

SFB what can I do online bill payments from Indusind bank? Also what are the good deals on the LH program? Right now Avios is sounding good due to their set low taxes.

I do all of mine on Citibank - seems to be the best interface. (No idea about IndusInd - not going to try to change things around in India! :p )

No good deals on LH, especially with their non-flat biz product. I think mileage redemption pretty much sucks, so I use the miles for upgrades only - which they also increased surcharges from Z to F, so not a great deal there either...

I would go with a BA card - let us know research on that - I may switch to BA too...
