Does anyone know what is happening with Air India's new co-branded credit cards? Wasn't an announcement about this supposed to happen in March?

Yeah they all removed almost all the benefits from all the cards in March exept for earning miles on those cards. They haven't announced anything positive.

Trying to buy AI on UA MP award
 

Had an award ticket bought with UA MP miles from US - Ind (CCU). That had connections thru UA and TG. There was a schedule change which required them to get a new itinerary and the contact center agents were able to get a route on UA to DEL and then DEL - CCU on AI. They even tried to issue the ticket but the DEL - CCU (AI leg) was not getting confirmed and they said AI is not confirming the same. They tried for 1+ hour and I asked them to call AI and they said that may not help, so to call back later.
It was interesting to see that they could see the itinerary but not issue the tickets as that 1 particular leg was not getting confirmed.

Does any one know the accrual for LH P class on Maharaja Club. the fare class is not listed in AI website under eligible class. Its Discounted Business. UA shows 100% credit. I'd rather credit to UA for some miles, if AI is not going to process it. Also does AI has multiplier / Bonus for Gold / Platinum Members

No earning on LH P on AI Maharaja Club. Definitely credit it to UA.

If you fly on AI metal and have Maharaja Club Silver, Gold or Platinum yes you do get bonus points (the standard points, not the tier points).

Anyone in Delhi the evening of Saturday, Oct 11? AJ and I are having drinks & dinner near DEL. I'm flying in around 7pm and leave for Munich at 1.45am...

I'm scheduled to be in Athens from the 9th-11th for a hearing but there is a good chance it may get moved to another date. If I'm in Delhi on the 11th then I'll definitely meet up.

Would loved to have met up but I am abroad most of October.

Has anyone here flown Gulf Air recently?

They have some pretty decent one way fares in business class right now. Have booked my mother on a DEL-BAH-JFK flight for next month on a $1,130 fare.

Last time I flew with them was over 10 years ago so have no recent experience.

They have cleaned up their act and restarted with a nice new fleet. They definitely try hard but don't get much business and heavily discount their fares. I've been tempted by siliar fares from DEL to Munich via BAH, all in A321XLR with lie falt business. The 9.30 pm departure time from DEL is also nice out side of the busy times.

Just found out one of my team members is flying with them to ATH next month. Have asked him to take a few pictures & videos.

The DEL-JFK fare was too good to pass up. The reviews online for their 787 business class seats are pretty good.

I have flown them a few times on the DEL-BAH-LHR flights and tried out both the 321 and 787 aircraft they use. I wouldn’t mind flying them again and would recommend them. The products are really good, both hard and soft.

I too was very tempted by a 78k one-way DEL BAH LHR on an upcoming trip. Where are folks crediting GF? Aadvantage?
