I don't think that is true anymore. I always buy my iPhones in the US but I have been able to use the warranty in India as well over the last few years.

Thank you for this!

Good that we can buy the phone in the US and still use the warranty!

Probably the one thing I would not like about two apple ID's is that you cannot see your photos automatically in the "other" iPhone since you logged in with a different ID.

Why bother to have 2 phones? Just esim one of the accounts?

The problem with multiple IDs will still remain in this scenario. In order to download & update certain apps you would have to log out & in between IDs.

Yes, I was exactly worried that I will have to log-in/out while using E-sim for one account.

So AI is merrily flying to the US/CA using Russian airspace but can't fly to MOW because of 'insurance issues'? How are the ME3 managing that risk?

Probably some legacy issue using US/EU insurers? I'm guessing an Indian insurer would have no issues covering RU.

Whatever the insurance issues I would not fly AI (over Russian air space) right now for you can never tell when the war and NATO decide to aid Ukraine more " in the air". Itchy fingers can put you away in a minute !

International transit - quick exit to visit GoFirst desk?

Hi,

I have a 5 hour international transit in DEL, AI to AI. Can I go outside to the domestic terminal - I need to visit GoFirst desk to pay for some changes to a domestic flight the following week.

Gofirst cant accept international credit cards unless you present them physically.

I recall that with an onward boarding pass stamped transit (generated when I check the bags through to final destination) they will give me a hassle trying to leave transit (I have a visa)?
Is there enough time?
.
Any advice please?

You can’t leave on international transit. Go first will be in T1, not T3.

You'll have trouble leaving the terminal for sure (if they're still doing the "T" thing). But you should absolutely try your luck - a good sob story... who knows! :D But it's all idiotic bureaucratic mentality rules that make very very little sense.

GoFirst international uses T3. Domestic uses T2.

My wife and kids just had a bad experience. They were flying AI from AUH - BOM - TRV. Intentionally booked a long transit at BOM to visit relatives. She cleared immigration, got her bags, did customs and then checked the bags in for the domestic flight. But then she was not allowed to leave the building. Sat there the whole as AI said it would take 3 hours to get the bags out.

She should have not re-checked her baggage and just exited the building after customs. You can't leave the building after checking in your luggage. OP's situation is different. He will get whisked away to transit security and not be allowed to go to immigration...

it's not only for the passengers in/out of CCU area only, the entire North-East of India depends on the efficiency of CCU for a smoother onward connection.

Air Suvidha for transit

Hi, Do transit passengers in T3 at Delhi (international to international) also have to fill in an Air Suvidha declaration? I asked the airport by email and they said yes, but the form demands a valid Indian address under criminal penalty - so that seems wrong.
Anyone know?
thanks
