Hi Keyser,

Were you transiting via LHR from the US?

Did you have to home quarantine in India due to the UK transit?

Thanks

That is so great to hear!
Perhaps people should land in DEL first.... And then go wherever.

Surely each state has made it so difficult by having their own rules of what happens to arriving passengers...

BOM Airport FAQ's say that anyone coming through LHR have to do the institutional quarantine. (Unless exempted for death in the family).
(There are further nuances in this...but, just keeping it simple).

BLR Airport seems to be similar to DEL.
MAA Airport - Very tough to find actual rules. But, seems to be "home quarantine" for LHR/EU/Middle East arrivals. (but exemption for 72 hours "business visitors"???)..

and so on........

Overall - :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

It would be way better if the country follows one system ....to reduce confusion.

Hence we also see several threads / queries about what will happen when someone lands from such and such itinerary.

If you can show that you are travelling onward all gateways will let you go without locking you up in quarantine. ;)

Since India is doing so well and has no other issue, let put India@75 stickers on aircraft and conduct a quiz!

I'm just super impressed that a "swarm of ants" was enough to make AI delay a flight. Usually it is due to crew or a minister running late...

It seems a swarm of ants wanted to fly in J to LHR: https://economictimes.indiatimes.com...w/85979129.cms

They had probably accrued enough miles traveling across the world on AI and had done a miles upgrade!

I guess they were not wearing masks?
