For that many prohibit it with " if you had this product in last X months, you do not qualify ". I would say it is getting expensive as whoever is "paying" the miles has to buy them. It can also fluctuate with economic conditions.

QR -9W Lounges in DOH

Hi flying into DOH connecting to Jet (9W)

Has anyone tried BOTH lounges ? Which is better ( less crowds, noise)?

How far apart are they?

Called 9 W on seat assignments, an exercise in sheer frustration .:( ( As in the two seats together have a very tall partition that is not movable ( A 330-200 Lie Flat) Really ?
Could not tell me where the 9W lounge is as in near Gate X.

Anyone with info ?
Thanks.

9W uses the Oryx lounge, as far as I know. Can't say exactly where it is, but not too far from the giant teddy bear.

definitely lunch....

Snacks - Chicken Roll or Ragda Patties.

The Aircraft has not aged well - Tray Tables will not close, seats will not recline or stay upright etc.

Went thru last Wed. OK food. Actually mediocre .....asked a chef for a veg soup, served us piping hot cream of asparagus. Baklava miniatures nice. Dirty dishes pick up was very late inspite of too many personnel walking around. Never saw a " supervisor / manager type" .
Darn hot in Mumbai .:(

AI is trying to generate cash... on google flights AI codeshares are popping up in places you would never fathom. As a result you can buy some nice tickets. The results page links directly into AI ecommerce and the tickets issue without problems. Got myself a nice CCU-MUC oneway on LH via DEL in business and even managed to pay with my HDFC account :D

I can only see flights around the £885 mark. Is that what you are referring too?

AI has codeshare deals with TK, ET, LH, etc: http://www.airindia.in/code-share-partners.htm

This inventory is usually kept till 72h before departure. AI used to have fares that only allowed these to be booked in conjunction with a AI flight, and excluded domestic feeders. In my CCU-MUC example I was able to book DEL-MUC on LH under AI codeshare because of the AI feeder from CCU.
